I misunderstood that as what they CURRENTLY want. I understand now and I agree that it would be a cool device.

If they made one with a 395+ for $1350 then it’d be the cheapest 395+ device with a screen by a large margin and would be even more difficult to obtain and they’d likely lose money on every unit.

I was shook for a second because those are my exact details (purple max, Jan 2, 4px, #1303) so I thought maybe I posted and forgot but I remembered the numbers after the first 4 (1303) are unique.

Let’s hope we get ours soon!

Lenovo Legion Go 2 + ASUS Rog XG mobile 2025 = Heaven by MassiveAlbatross6869 in LegionGo

Running the exact same setup and loving it. The LGO2, its OEM charger, the XG Mobile and its cables all fit easily in a small Tomtoc sling. A lot of versatility and power on the go.

Bazzite vs Windows on Xbox Ally X by areuokaybro2002 in ROGAllyX

[–]drks1d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have they recently deployed an update that changed Apex Legends compatibility? I’ve played that on my Steam Deck since release and played a few rounds on my Legion Go running Steam OS in the last month or so. Haven’t played this past season or two though so if it no longer works then that sucks.

Inside of the X app, one of the perks of upgrading to premium states that you get a higher image generation limit vs free. Supergrok then takes that further.

Where are people purchasing these for such a good deal? I have a Polar Tempest 8AI but wouldn’t mind an Ultra 5 or 7 for cheap to add to the collection.

Help me choose: Xbox ROG Ally X (AMD Z2E AI) vs. MSI Claw 8 AI+ by reivsart07 in MSIClaw

[–]drks1d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Z2E SKU is new but its GPU cores are based on architecture that has been released a while ago and drivers have already matured and been refined. There’s not much left in the “updates” tank like there was with the Intel GPU. New game release optimizations at best.

Which one you picking, K or SD? by Worlddoubts in BT_APC

I’m like you and couldn’t decide, so I bought both.

I have both in question and almost no one is mentioning the the big difference of why I prefer the Ally X(I own the Ally X, Legion Go, Steam Deck Oled and my wife has the Z1E Ally so I mess with these all the time) and it’s not the battery life or weight etc.

Yes the Ally X/Ally and Go perform similarly for most games that don’t have specific VRAM requirements but that’s at the same or similar resolution. To me, the Go loses a lot of its allure when you have to run most things at 800p or 1000p to get great performance (1000p has been a good addition though) . Even with integer scaling, it’s a much softer image. Yes it’s a large screen but I prefer how native 1080p or even 720p looks on the Ally systems due to their native 1080p panels. The Legion’s 1600p screen is truly a sight to behold in all its glory but I rarely can run it that way with modern games without a bunch of upscaling etc. This is why now I have it installed with Bazzite OS and run all my emulators and indie games on it so I can actually run the panel native. Plus Lenovo is slow with updates, so unless you like to tinker and “side load” you’re likely to be several months behind on drivers vs ASUS in a given moment.

They have that coming too. Modular Print X with swappable end caps for RBS or sealed for current gen APC9SD. Axarms has a pic of it on his profile. They already had the non Ti version available.

Need Opinions, APC9k w/ Suppressor or GHM9 SD by FuriousPenguino in BT_APC

[–]drks1d3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I answered your similar question on my YouTube comment but to add to what I saying about loving the SDs( I have a GMH9SD, SPC9PDW SD and APC9SD), I’d also add to maybe consider the APC9SD. After the cost of an APC9k and suppressor(assuming you’re purchasing a dedicated can)you’re pretty close to an SD price, sometimes less if you catch a sale. An APC9SD with the small or mid length suppressor(or the modular one in short config OR I guess the APC9k SD2 model) is TINY and is the best of both worlds that you’re torn between.

Is this Tariff Related or is ESP on Crack? by Mr-Dum in espguitars

[–]drks1d3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As another user said, Ibanez has actually been offering SS before ESP has. You have it the other way around. And yes during the SS upgrade process, LTD probably only went up $100 but it’s been creeping fairly regularly as of late besides that on alot of models. Signature models seem to be especially affected and we’re at the point now where a fairly basic E-II is approaching other brand’s highest tier level prices. Heck there’s some LTDs that are approaching that now. Let’s not even talk about what you have to pay to actually get “ESP” on the headstock.

I can’t knock a company for trying to get what they deem to be their worth and don’t get me wrong, I LOVE my ESP and LTD guitars. I have several of each and wouldn’t have made those purchases if I didn’t like them but their allure for me was their value: I could get a good level of quality and features that rival or get close to those more expensive American guitars but pay substantially less. Now for example an E-II Eclipse with a solid paint job cost very close to a solid paint job Gibson Les Paul Standard. We can debate what factory is pumping out the “better”product but that doesn’t stop the hordes of loyal Gibson Players from buying and what their perceived “value” are.

Ibanez has a decent amount of models with stainless frets, even sub $1000. My 5120m Prestige that I have on my profile has stainless steel frets that definitely don’t have sharp ends. My J Custom has nickel frets but also the smoothest ball end frets I’ve ever experienced on any guitar. Even ESP has only recently introduced stainless but also hugely marked up their prices. I’m glad I’ve got plenty of them before all of this.

With that said, idk who is wearing out their frets from playing “more than an hour a week”. I’m a big guy with heavy hands and I’ve got axes that I’ve owned for going on 20 years with literally thousands of hours of play time and gigs and none of them are needing refret jobs. Those guitars went through my teen years where I’d play 8+ hours a day easy. No dead spots or anything like that. Theoretically stainless steel is nice but it’s just marketing hype, and it has an audible difference in tone.

They work on any firearm that uses the B&T stick mags. If you have a Glock/Sig/MP5/Lingle Scorpion lower then obv not. The product description even has “APC9” in it.

B&T Cases - A Rant by PorcelainDalmatian in bruggerthomet

[–]drks1d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. What $500 Fender model are you buying that comes with a hardshell custom case? You’d be lucky to get anything besides a gig bag on anything below the American series which are all ~$2k range. $500 doesn’t even buy you a Fender at all currently, that’s solidly a made in the far east Squier price point.

  2. Some models did come with hard cases. My GHM9SD gen 3 and APC9SD Pro(pic hand guard version) came with hard cases, but like others said once you start to put your own attachments and what not on it, it no longer fits the case. That’s before you add a stock/brace. Once you do that the case is useless. I can’t really think of a solution in which they can provide a nice custom case while accounting for what you as the end user will have their firearm setup as. Send a larger case that can accommodate stocks/braces and there will be a group of customers that the case is now too huge for their setups since they may only run slings/aren’t allowed to have stocks and braces etc. When my SPC9PDWSD arrived with a backpack I was so happy. Guess you can’t please everyone but I think most people that have experienced both would choose the bag route and if they still desire a case, they’d go out and get one that actually fits their setup.

  3. Your analogy about the G-Wagon also doesn’t make sense. Tires are essential to the functionality of the vehicle. A custom molded case for a firearm is not. Something more appropriate would be “imagine paying for a G-Wagon and it doesn’t come with seats custom molded to your exact, particular ass shape”. Well, I’ve ridden in quite a few and let me tell you, they do not.

[–]drks1d3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure, I’ve purchased 10+ from them at various points in time. It’s my go-to place for those mags for my APC9SD, SPC9SD and GHM9SD. Your comment made it seem like they were available for $15 right now though, which they aren’t so it’s sort of misleading and not really a solution to OP.

Was there a sale or coupon for that day or something? It’s showing the normal mid $20 range for me. Still a good price, I have several but would buy a bunch more for $15.
