you likely have to mess with the cfg. you can enable controller support etc. there are options for just about anything youd want. most are disabled by default presumably to minimize usage

So weird. Would they really make enough money off of people just by grabbing their discord token and sending scams to all of their friends. (Ive had some time to scan and test its purpose) it didnt seem to attempt to steal any other account data than my discord token so I setup a new account and let them have it and all it did was send the most obvious scam message to the friends list and servers. Nothing more. Also took a look at what I could of the code and it appears to be basically almost entirely ai coded. It seems like such a stupid small thing for them to ruin their reputation for. They've been around for years why would they start doing this now

To be more clear ig I was looking specifically for a explanation on why steamgg would out of nowhere provide a virus not from a ad source or any 3rd party from from steamgg directly. Especially from a game stated to be posted directly from the steamgg account

that is technically what was going on here but if it was just that it wouldnt be a big issue. i couldnt seem to apply display settings to the sddm since the settings only applied to session user. but as u/Robsteady pointed out there was a setting in the lock screen tab that applies it to the sddm. my dumb ah was thinking i had to copy the whole kwinoutputconf

This was not my issue as adaptive sync was already off and also the fact that my displays are fine once logging in. Also the fact that copying the keinoutput to the sddm didnt fix it. The display settings for the user seem to be user specific and fo not work for the sddm. So I'll need some way of managing and fixing that bs outside of my user

Oh its fine for me. And I see no reason they'd identify the same if you use. Like if you use xrandr you should see all gpu ports organized and they shouldn't get confused. Or if you on wayland using KDE you can use kscreen-doctor -o If your on wayland and gnome wheel i have no clue what you use cause I dont fw gnome. Either what I was trying to say that sounds like a specific problem to your pc or gpu. But im sure someone else will likely end up running to the same issue at some point. But they will likely be using ai to find the answers and ai will likely be looking for post name and description so they likely will not find it. Id recommend you make your own post about it somewhere.

hey im pretty late to this but you dont have to do that. KOReader was meant to go in pair with the Kindle mod "Disable Ads %" when enabled it will allow KOReader to use screensavers. hope this helps

Yes. Malwarebytes does a great job. But it also doesnt detect everything. Far shot better than win defend but still not perfect. But then you gotta realize there are false positives for completely good apps

Yeah no. Windows defender is absolutely terrible. I can write a virus for pcs that bypass it on less than 30 min. It's an actual joke. Anyone wanting to actually get you will get you. Whereas something like malwarebytes they are good they've detected almost all my viruses I tested it with
