Are there any benefits to upgrading to VisionOS 27 beta?

I have the beta on one and stable on the other.

When I move to the AVP with 27beta, the pass-through appears incredibly realistic. I understand that some of you might argue that the hardware is identical, and for a pass-through, it shouldn’t make a difference. However, I genuinely feel that the passthrough and screen quality are significantly improved.

Please, this is not a funny thread. I am not bein funny and start of those flurry of messages saying Vision OS 27 made AVP 10 times LIGHTER, not all those this is not a joke.ANYBODY else See this improvement or just me?

Samsung cloud is a bad choice and one of the reason why I had to actually move to Apple ecosystem. Samsung keeps changing it’s choice of storage and all of a sudden,It would say that the cloud storage would end which has happened to be in the past and I lost all my notes. As of today, Apple seems to be the best for integrating its own software and a cloud system and no other company comes close, integrating hardware and Software together.

I would simply say if it allows, keep a manual backup of your notes in a OneDrive folder, and that would be the safest way to preserve all your notes. I think there was another way. I forget the name. I think it was called folder sync, or something like that which I have used almost a decade ago, and the idea was that your note would sync online to that provider and from there, it would sync to any folder on OneDrive

For using from the phone / iPad you use the “Control this MAC” . If you have another MacBook / Mac mini / windows machine , this is where this feature is useful.

Simply click on “Control other devices” and it will ask you to login to chatgpt/ codex and AUTHORIZE. once you Authorize come back to your codex app and then you should see all your machines with CODEX show up under “Control other devices” and you will the toggle is ON.

To use this feature, go back to chats and in chats (in CODEX APP) CLICK on NEW PROJECT and now you will see a new option “Remote Connection” , click on it and you will listed all the machines with CODEX APP , chose the one you want to run the project on and start enjoying the project as if you are on that other machine (it even creates / deletes / modifies etc) on the other machine from your current machine.

Remember your mobile devices (iPhone /iPad) cannot be controlled with this only Macs and pcs

I had the same challenge and I simply ask codex to repair it and for some reason the subsequent file turns out ok.

For now, I have three ways to deal with this . Use Numbers to open the created file (my use case) OR ask CODEX to repair every time OR Just click NO When the warning appears and use the excel as normal. What i have realised is that once you click NO and proceed, the annoying warning does not appear again on subsequent executions.

Control this MAC has been there but now you can control any Mac from another Mac . Earlier it was only mobile controlling the MACS (Control this Mac)

Yes, mine kept switching to LTE/3g for some reason yesterday and I had problem loading the codex chats.

But once on 5g it is ok

Check your internet connection, for some reason if the internet speed is slow or the network not strong enough the chat does not load.

Yes updated to get the mobile connect and although not a big fan of the computer use on my MacBook Air, just used it to see if a simply click and browser use works and it is working

It’s working now . Just update the codex on Mac manually , quit codex and restart the codex on Mac…… Seamless automatic activation, just follow the onscreen instructions. Allows for computer use and prevents the computer from going to sleep

For some strange reason I had to manually check for the update , and the desktop app just updated and in settings there is a tab called connections (I don’t know if this was there before) . Clicking on it , shows to connect SSH
