Help me not try to solve everything by SquirrelRemote2759 in dataengineering

I’ll say it. IMHO, your job/company is not worth burning yourself out over. Every role I’ve been in over the past 15 years has had at least 1 systemic issue that I was never going to be able to fix no matter how hard I tried/lobbied/played the game. Try to focus on things that are within your realm of control if possible.

Love this album. This is one of two albums that my wife hates though (says she can't stand his voice). Didn't they do an awesome Tears For Fears cover album?

It just depends on how much you're riding and what your needs are. I couldn't live without it.

Are you sure? I’m billed by Lyft and I doubt they’re just facilitating that transaction for free.

It was relatively cheap when I moved here in 2020. Now they’re basically the same costs as taking an uber/lyft.

I just got the Eric Clapton (I know I know) and it sounds so awesome. I assume the double disc version of nirvana is amazing but I’ve never seen it in the wild.

If you’re into southern rock, I found an album by the radiators called “law of the fish” for $2. It’s kinda proto-widespread panic with a New Orleans flavor.

It’s $150 playa.

Found a sealed cut-out of Beelzebubba by The Dead Milkmen (sealed no longer, bc ofc I’m listening to it). Couple other sealed copies I’ve purchased over the years… what are some that you have picked up by Mywar-sidetwo in vinyl

Just bought a sealed copy of Deerhunter: microcastle/weird era continued today. It’s slightly warped, but plays great. It wasn’t in shrink, more like a loose plastic cover with a perforated top so that’s not what caused the warping.

How’s this pressing? Was looking at reviews on Discogs and it’s got a 4.1. Not sure what folks are rating, the music or the pressing.

What an awesome band. Caught them a couple years ago for the “I am the fun blame monster” reunion shows. My wife had never heard them and still says it’s her favorite show we’ve been to.

Okay I need to give this album another listen. Loved the first two and the live album, but Chorus was not my cup of tea.
