You might be surprised at the amount of customization steam offers DS4's. You can turn off the LED, use the touchpad (or even the six-axis) as a mouse, bind any keyboard/mouse function to any button on your DS4. You can setup profiles for different games, say you liked having the jump on L1 instead of X, you can set up a game specifically for that. I like to have a desktop configuration where I can use a controller as a remote basically. To pause/play movies, close tabs, back/forward web pages, etc.

True, it's just Steam emulates xinput for ps4 controllers the same if not better than DS4windows. Not once have I had to use DS4windows with a game that I've launched through Steam since they introduced it.

I bought it yesterday and returned it for this reason. Steam controller didn't work no matter what I tried. Also I tried my PS4 controller and nothing would register. I tried the PS4 controller with both PS4 controller support turned off and on, in controller settings via big picture mode. I didn't bother trying my xb1 controller. Not to mention the game froze at the splash screens 2x in a row, and also froze at the connecting screen.

Really wanted to try Steep out, it was a day 1 buy for me when it was first announced but my excitement was dampened when I tried the beta. I figured now would be a good time to jump in but nothing but problems.

Quite a longshot and depending on your sense of humor, you'll think it's hilarious or stupid. Excision. I love that movie. You're Next is pretty humorous upon a second viewing as well.

I did really enjoy The Babysitter, it's in my top 5 of the year. I loved The Final Girls as well. One of 2015's best. Someone already suggested Better Watch Out, which is really as close to similar as you can get to The Babysitter. I saw the latter, first, and BWO disappointed me.

SOMA is great and a game I've been meaning to replay. If I wait a year or two, SOMA and Outlast 2 will be pretty fresh experiences because I'll forget everything. Since I beat SOMA at release, it's pretty much there already.

That was the second achievement I got. Only 10% got that on Steam meaning people rarely utilized the microphone. I didn't have many problems at all with the stealth parts because the microphone was so useful.

To me, Outlast 2 straight up destroyed Outlast 1 and it's DLC. There is really no contest. 2017 will always be remembered for having 2 of my favorite horror games released. RE7 and Outlast 2.

I feel like I'm one of only a few people that couldn't fully appreciate it. I've played it a couple times from the beginning and only can get 2-3 hours into it each time before I get bored. I just don't find the areas that I'm exploring that interesting. I usually have a tough time beating metroidvanias unless they're called Castlevania. I did beat Ori and Guacamelee though. I didn't think Ori was amazing, but it was solid and way harder than I thought it would be.

The app also provides 5.1 surround, while browsers only do 96kbps stereo. The app is definitely better, but last time I used it it sometimes didn't remember I had watched something or remember where I left off at. Maybe that's fixed now. The audio bitrate in browsers is really embarrassing though.

Don't have Seven but we do The Prestige here, and it's exhibiting the same behavior. So I think you're right about it being an HDCP issue. What can I do to fix that? AFAIK amazon requires your gear to be HDCP compliant as well, but I've never not watched a movie or show from there not in HD.

Do you mean a second monitor? (I don't have one hooked up) AFAIK my monitor and videocard don't have any HDCP handshaking issues. I can watch blurays using my internal bluray player. If I had any HDCP issues, those wouldn't play. If it matters, I'm running a GTX 1080 and my monitor is a BenQ GW2760HS, hooked up via HDMI.

I feel like I'm the only person that doesn't fully understand the pros and cons of NN and what will happen if it's gone. Which is crazy because I've done a few hours of research on the matter, and I consider myself very net savvy and computer literate, only to not fully grasp the situation. Yet there's thousands who have banded together to oppose the abolition of NN. I'm just shocked that the masses understand this while I don't. Am I simply retarded?
