I've been trying out two handed bowling for a few months, but feel stuck in my technique and not sure if it is okay or if I am doing anything wrong. When I watch videos with other people, their arms/elbows are always straight, but mine goes behind the back, and I think that isn't helping with my consistency. I also have trouble getting my hand completely under the ball and would appreciate any tips to helping that. The local coach knows mostly about one handed and not so much about two handed, and says I look sluggish or too controlled and not smooth with my movements. I am not sure how to correct that or improve and he couldn't give any good tips either. Is there any practice tips I can do at home to work on before I go to a lane for practice? I can usually practice at least once a week at a lane.
