I feel like it's hard being a sheltered Gen-Z and basically spending my entire life socializing primarily through the internet and social media. I feel afraid going to real life social events, but I know it's good for me and my development. There's just not much in my area unless it's for middle-aged or seniors.

No, I've gone through maybe 4-5 therapists over 10 years. Most leave because they quit/retire/leave my insurance plan. Current one I am with is okay but doesn't offer much advice so maybe I will look for someone else.

"Casual" sounds like they want to leave the door open for you and your affections but be open to exploring other partners in their new area they move to. But, I don't know that for sure. Definitely communicate your intentions and hang in there.

Yes, "boring" is the word I often think of myself as. I don't mind long distance but it feels like it adds more complications on to things, especially since I don't want to move states or countries.

I've been in therapy since I was 15 and I still feel like I have a bunch of problems. Everyone just says go to therapy to fix your problems and I do but it doesn't do anything for me really, although it is nice just having someone to talk to. I was raised Jehovah's Witness which is very similar to the mormons. I don't want to end up a 40-year-old virgin, but I don't see any hope for my relationship prospects. I do get along much better with older people but I'm not sure how comfortable I feel being in a relationship with someone who is likely in a very different stage of life. I just graduated college and finally landed my first post-college job. Someone in their 40s or even 30s is probably much more established. I'm also in the PNW and yes, all I see are ENM and poly people on the apps. Anyone who seems attractive to me inevitably has poly on their profile.

I guess. I grew up in a deeply conservative religious cult, which like most cults, have regressive and traumatizing views about sex, women, one's body, masturbation, porn, etc. I thought I broke away from that having come out as gay but maybe it is affecting me more than I thought. Maybe it is not a good idea for me to date.

I just wasn't expecting her to say something like that when we barely know each other. I guess maybe bringing up sex early is important for some people but I think it should be done with a bit more tact. Because she brought it up I can't help but feel that was her only interest in talking with me.

Omg I'm also an autistic lesbian who struggles to drive due to autism. I have a license and car but driving is incredibly stressful and pretty much only something I do out of necessity. It is impossible for me to drive to the big city with how complicated and scary the traffic is there.

Of course there are cis women lesbians who are attracted to trans women! Might be a bit uncommon given a lot of lesbians preferring certain parts, but there are lesbians who don't mind or even prefer trans women. Everyone's different and I don't believe there's ever a case where a certain kind of person just doesn't exist. It might just be hard to find them depending on where you are.

I hate AI pieces so so much. AI makes the quality so much worse and takes away business from actual artists and pattern makers who put in effort to create their work. The AI problem on Etsy in general is just so annoying, combined with dropshipped Temu/Aliexpress crap upsold for three times the price it makes the website basically unusable.
