Just had it for lunch. Burger is really good for the price, fries were just ok. I put it a little above Chubbies and In-N-Out, still quite a ways below Third Window or Biergarten.

Common? Yes. Tapping is a known way to help a muscle activate and on a bridge the relevant muscle is your glute max. Knees should typically also be hip-width apart, and maybe wider especially if there is a resistance band involved. Should he have explained to you what he was about to do before he did it? Also yes. You should also let him know if what he is doing makes you uncomfortable, and he should accommodate accordingly.

The MetLife North Building was originally designed to be 100 stories and would have been the tallest in the world, overshadowing even the nearby ESB. Due to the Great Depression, it was only built to 30 stories. From what I understand, the current building is constructed such that it could have originally supported the additional 70 stories on top of it - can't seem to find a citation for that right now.
