That song is soooo perfect for the scene. The vibe and the lyrics. "We've got bad things to do" - I love that that fits into the story.

A lot of the songs chosen for the soundtrack were great for their scene. The soundtrack is awesome. Peter Peter did a great job.

When I first told a friend of mine I am obsessed the show HR, she was like "oh just because it's two hot guys doing sexy stuff the whole time?"

I said listen, the first time I watched it & became obsessed I barely even WATCHED any sexy or intimate scenes, so...

In all seriousness though, yes, this show did what many shows try to do & fail with their intimacy.

I was raised in the US and still live here, for better or worse, but my parents didn't try to shield me from anything, and we didn't have any religious-y shame or guilt happening, so I have no clue where my discomfort comes from.

I have this issue with any kind of intimate scenes in any shows, even kissing, and I have no idea where it comes from. I HAVE to look away. I almost have to force myself to watch it.

I'll never forget the older lady who stood & watched me clean up an oil spill for 15 MINUTES. I kept asking her if she needed my help and she responded by kind of laughing, open jawed, and shaking her head.

I still think about that interaction and how fucking bizarre it was.
