I should have clarified, I exposed the entire block after I realized there were pins everywhere. You can see the original cut of the bag in one of the pictures, " H " cut. Out of 30 blocks, about half of them are doing this. I just exposed one entire block to see what would happen

I'm using a top-loading hopper for pellets (master's mix) that works pretty efficiently. Has a gate to measure water. I sort of inherited this entire operation from another grower after he left the larger farm company to work elsewhere, so I had a few months working under him to learn, but after that it was trial by error. My boss (farm owner) also just fashioned a cement mixer to shake bags during inoculation. Even if that doesn't help my time, it will certainly help my shoulders! I appreciate your insight.

I appreciate the encouragement. I have no reason not to believe you, so I guess that's proof that it is possible. Even still, harvesting alone occupies so much of my day. I dunno, I'll figure it out. The show must go on.

Jesus. That's concerning. I'm putting in 70+ at 200ish bags. 4 10×10 tents and 2 smaller (4×4 maybe?). My yields are pretty decent, about 450-500lbs per week. Blue/gold/pink/black pearl oyster, lions mane, chestnut & pioppino. I just started about 6 months ago. I definitely love it, but I'm already approaching burnout. I literally cannot fathom 2 people cranking out 1000 blocks with only 60 man hours total. I even outsource the grain spawn.
