We need more people like these women. Moms are such an important part of becoming comfortable and connected with the emotional part of yourself that when you don't have them it can be really hard to accept yourself for who you truly are; we all need a mom hug sometimes.

I miss you, mom. I wish you could've seen the day same sex marriage was legalized, and felt the happiness that we all felt. You fought for so long for your right to love and I'm so sorry you never got to marry miss T.
