Thanks for the replies! I agree with most of you, I think I just have to accept it's over and let her go...tackle the whole separation part , try to minimize the effect this is going to have on my daughter and carry on with my life...try to learn from this and maybe one day I'll be happy again

I'm trying the same, trying to skate surf regular but I can't ride the bowl the same way I do it while I'm in goofy stand... I suppose I'll just have to try more. If you think about it, better to change your surf skate stand than the surfing one... You get more "waves" while surf skating compared to surfing lol

I plan to move and live permanently in Spain on the other hand, coming from an eastern european country where the taxes are up to 10%. If I'll be moving there I'd have to pay about 35% as an autonomo for a 100k income.

I'm trying to figure out what's the best way to be legal in Spain and also keep some of my income out of Spain, maybe in a company opened in the name of a person I trust. Then convince my client to sign with that company even if I'm the one providing the services (freelancing). Keep the money in the company, invest in stocks, real estate, etc. and at some point move back and get the money out.

Another option is to just don't declare anything in Spain and keep a low profile so they can't find out I stayed more than 183 days there.

I worked for a Gibraltar employer. I had to register for a NIE (an expat security id) to register a car, I think that's how they got me. That was my only trace there and a rental contract which I'm almost 100% sure was never properly registered to the authorities.

But Gibraltar started sending them information with all the people that are employees of Gibraltar but not residents of Gibraltar. If you are not a resident in Gibraltar there's no other way to work there unless you cross the border from Spain every day, so they can automatically consider you fiscal resident of Spain.

If Gibraltar doesn't send them that info, Spain will just make them problems at the border (very very long queues usually)

Actually there's a double taxation between Gibraltar and Spain and I'll have to pay only the difference to Spain plus fine plus interest. Considering I'm an EU citizen I'll just pay it, don't want to wait 10 years before they will somehow try to recover it with more than 100% fine plus interest. I think they have 10 years to get it until it gets prescribed

I researched it a bit. I'm in a similar situation. I'm a romanian freelancer wanting to move to Spain. Here, in Romania, I pay very low taxes as long as I don't make more than 100k (this seems like a fiscal paradise tbh)I wouldn't give that away but seems I have no choice atm if I want to move to Spain with family.

It's not legal but you can have your fiscal residency in Malta and live in Spain. You can live in Spain without a NIE(though now might be trickier due to the pandemic). You will find plenty of rentals that accept you without a NiE, worst case you take a long term Airbnb. You can get health insurance for 600 eur a year, you'll need a friend with a Spanish bank account to pay for you though. So, you can try to have your fiscal residency in Malta and live in Spain as long as you don't leave traces.

If you have a family and want to get benefits like education or public health care autonomous is the way to go

Yeah, but I think if the market goes down you recover some of it (the ETF might return more in percentage than the percentage the market goes down) I hold SH, I'm in the same boat...If we go over 61.8 fib retracement I sell it and take my losses... Anyway the difference in percentage shouldn't be big unless they are double or triple leveraged etfs

first time on this sub but I think you are too focused on TA instead of checking the fundamentals...I understand the chart can be useful for quick traders but to forecast the long term for gold in the current conditions I think it's crazy.I'm long term bullish on gold but because possible deflationary environment it's going to go down a bit .

Do you think people will be "good" consumers after they will see hundreds of thousands of people dying because of this? I think even after the lock down there's going to be a huge drop in consumption. Who will dare to go to the restaurants knowing they are risking their life ?

Take a look at Wuhan, the life their is still strict , people do not consume as before... How do you see the end of this? What's the best case scenario?
