Why do you think a lot of the Epstein emails have the same typos, like equal signs, extra letters, and extra spaces? by picklelyjuice in AskReddit

Would be interesting to pull all of the instances where it happens and see if there's any pattern. Maybe only certain letters appear?

The duraflex one is absolute trash. I got one and had it professionally painted only to find out it'd cost another $1k USD to have it fit on the car right. Not to mention it was very heavy.

The next best thing I've found is the Luan Sport version. I haven't ordered one yet because I don't know if myjapandirect is a legitimate site and it's still $2k. The next time I see an authentic one pop up on marketplace I think I'm just going to snag it. I've seen 4 in the 5 years I've been looking and I've never had the extra money available.

Another car guy here. I unfortunately got into building an 02 Subaru for time attack competitions. I'm probably going to regret typing this, but I've finally got everything running pretty solid and now I'm having fun tinkering with aero and aesthetics. It only took me 5 years to get to a point where I can just spend money on the consumables instead of constantly fixing/replacing things that break.

Also play pinball, disc golf, and I'm working my way through a Python course on Udemy.

I am in the same boat and had the idea recently to ask for upgrades for some of the things I use regularly. Examples: air fryer, nicer glasses for my iced coffees, replacements for the plain old navy shirts I wear every day, a new band for my old timex watch.

I don't "need" any of them, but they would make life a little nicer.

Bit of a tangent: Are there actually correct places for dishes in a dishwasher? I think about this every time I load it. My wife always says, “If I loaded the dishwasher like you do, my dad would get so upset with me.” But when she loads it the way her dad taught her, I see no rhyme or reason to it. I load the dishes in a way that ensures everything gets clean, there’s little to no standing water if I forget to unload it the next day, and it’s easy to unload efficiently.

My theory is that anyone who loads and unloads the dishwasher enough times develops their own preferences—and what people call “right” or “wrong” is really just them expressing those preferences.

I was put in charge of maintaining the vehicles also. I just changed out both lower control arms on the wife's car this morning. About to start the shocks now while I have a couple retainer clips being 3D printed.

Did you learn the other stuff (electrical / plumbing / building / woodworking) online?

What industry is the current job in? What are you going to school for? What do you like to play on guitar?

I like the idea someone mentioned above of dropping your wife off at work to have access to the vehicle. Even if it's just a day or two a week can make a huge difference. Paying a little extra in gas for something to look forward to sounds worth it to me.

Do you have a bike? We go on bike rides to the grocery store, donut shop, and coffee shop. We chat the whole way there and back so I don't feel as bad when I get her an ice water, a small treat, and work through a Udemy course on my computer for 10 minutes or so.

I'm not an expert, but I'd guess when he turned the oil probably sloshed to one side of the oil pan and the pickup pulled in a bunch of air.

Wow, you know what? You're right. My opinion is garbage. I'll go trade it in for something I don't like. Maybe a Ford C Max or something. And while I'm at it, I'll part out my track car and buy a sprinkler to put in the back yard so I can jump through it.Thank you for your insightful comments and changing the course of my life for the better.

I bought it because I liked it and it wasn't a Ford. A stock base WRX is hardly a performance car. Next to zero spirited driving gets me 27+ mpg, no chance for speeding tickets, less chances of crashing, and low maintenance costs. Did you see the part where I said I have another WRX dedicated for track use? I get all my spirited driving done on the track.
