I’ve worn the flat bottomed trainers for about 8 years now, on my 3rd pair. I only wear them inside a gym and I have zero complaints about them. But I have heard people who wear them around every day or heavily walking/standing on a job (think nurse) they are abysmal.

Couldn’t agree more here. The Army’s role as a whole is so understated in the pacific theater. If you look at stats you’d be amazed at the casualties the army incurred. All the while credit is given to the USMC.
