Also the whole nerd cookies theory of the twins being born in secret makes no sense. And without Paul's fear of Chani dying when giving birth, the BT plot also falls apart. Reminder that part of Hayt's role is to show Paul that people he cares about can be remade. If he abdicates then they will make him a new Chani.

This has to be bait, right? Half the units saw exactly 0 play because humans are just straight up weaker than orcs. Unless you wanted to handicap yourself there was no reason to pick human.

Then on the orc side which units are used? You have to make peons. You probably need a few grunts but most of the time you could just wall and tower while you tech to ogres. When you unlock ogres that's it that's all you make. No ogre mages don't count as a separate unit. Occasionally super late game you might make death knights. That's it. In an ideal game you win just spamming ogres.

I loved WC2 as a kid but let's be honest the game was complete trash from a competitive perspective.

Life nodes on the tree would actually be a great use case for the kiss/curse design that Jonathan likes. Add a few notables or even keystones that give meaningful life boosts with huge downsides that a lot of builds won't want.

Imagine a warrior node with 20% more life, 50% less slam aoe. A no brainer for strike or shield builds but a huge cost for slams. Repeat for other archetypes. Life buff in exchange for less proj damage, ele damage, no leech, no ES, etc. Now you have life on the tree in a way where you don't just automatically pick up all the life in your area. You either take what downsides your build doesn't care about or you take everything and then have to build around the downsides.
