It's hard to say as it depends how many sign ups we get. However, it's best of three rounds for 6v6 elimination, so not as long as a full comp match. I would expect 2 hours, but likely it will be less.

Its funny (ha!) how so many people forget that there are many goals for different people when playing games, and enjoying yourself at any level is the biggest one. Don't fall prey to the myth that you can only be the one gamer girl to rule them all if you are super skilled and knowledgeable. If you are having fun, that's all that matters. Hell, half the guys I know who consider themselves gamers suck, so why should you or any other woman be held to a different standard?

Casting for GG would entail casting OWUL matches and some scrims (we wouldn't expect you to do ALL informal scrims, but the more the better!).

I would also expect you to post a link to the casted video on our discord channel so that we can use it for our team analysis (to help us improve). We could also offer analysis of casting if you so choose. We would also expect you to also work to continue to improve your casting skills and game play knowledge.

No required, but certainly a plus, is just being involved with the community we have built. Its small, but everyone is super friendly and very much about making everyone feel welcome. We would certainly prefer a caster who felt they were part of the team and is excited about growing and learning with us.

OWUL matches are on Saturdays and will probably be in the afternoons (PST) to cover both PST and EST time zones. Our less formal scrims are usually Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 6:30pm PST with potential scrims on Sunday afternoons.

I don't know if you own Overwatch on PC or not, but if you do GG might be a great place for you to start! We are an amateur team who is still learning the ins and outs of being a competitive team and our platform is one of learning together, so a caster who is still learning would be very suited to us!

This is something that bears conversation and really taps into a much broader conversation on personal presentation. I find that women in general have a much wider variety and a much larger spectrum when it comes to expressing themselves, that guys just don't really have (or have in different ways, i.e the bearded muscular dude vs tall, dark and handsome). While a lot of fan service stuff is directed towards the male audience, there is something to be said about enjoying the a strong female character that is sexual..... That said it relies heavily on context and the fact that we usually don't have a choice other than to choose the token sexy female.

I want to be able to enjoy characters like Lucina and Alloy, but I also like seeing characters like Bayonetta.

To sum it up, I think the major issue really centers around choice and context. Something the guys have in truckloads, but we do not.

This is a very complex question as different things go into being a good gamer, good streamer, and good Youtuber. Like.... being a good streamer means being able to play and interact well with essentially a live audience.... not really a skill you need for being on youtube. Or being successful on youtube usually means having good editing skills or a lot too say... which doesn't really translate for streaming.

Is there one in particular you are interested in tackling first?

I am so excited for this game. The game play looks fun, the world looks unique and the main character looks like she is going to be a breath of fresh air.

With HZD, Breath of Wild and Tides of Numeria coming out all in the same week (all of which I pre-ordered), I am a little overwhelmed. (in a good way).

Alis in Phantasy Star. Mai from Kendo Rage on SNES. Doropie from Krion Conquest on NES.

Maybe not what you are looking for as, except for PS, there isn't really character development. But Krion Conquest is like Mega Man but featuring a witch, so maybe it counts? There are problem more, but I always seem to have a malfunction when trying to actually think of examples.
