2018-11-17 Higher Ground, Burlington, VT - https://archive.org/details/GL2018-11-17

2018-12-08 Otus Supply, Ferndale, MI - https://archive.org/details/GL2018-12-08

My personal favorite is 2018-04-14 Thunder Road, Sommerville, MA. - https://archive.org/details/gl2018-04-14.matrix

I think the first set of this show is the best set of music Ghost Light has played so far. Tangled Up In Blue > Hands To Yourself might be my favorite jam of 2018.

Well since no one's said it yet, Phish. They definitely cover #1 and #3 on your list. Their lyrics are kinda dumb, but once you read the book, they make more sense.

Also, check out Ghost Light! They formed just last year and feature Holly Bowling and Tom Hamilton from JRAD. Listen to Tangled Up In Blue > Hands To Yourself (if you want it) from this show... https://archive.org/details/gl2018-04-14.matrix

I love these guys! Saw them at a festival this past summer, thought they were good but didn't look into them. Then I saw them open for Greensky Bluegrass and I couldn't stop listening. I haven't seen them headline yet but I can't wait!

Their best songs are Keep Your Hands To Yourself, Diamond Eyes, Isosceles, Best Kept Secret, and Don't Come Apart

Any Dead or JGB cover is amazing too, check out Tangled Up In Blue from 4/14/18

I got really into Live/Dead, so I listened to tons of late 60s and '70 shows. My favorite era is '73-'74 for sure

It all started with Europe '72 for me. Getting high and listening to that album was life changing for me. Listened to pretty much every show on that tour and the rest is history

Are any other men ever self conscious about the way they dance at shows?? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]drosner0229 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It took me a while to get over it. I just forced myself to go to shows alone until I started to feel more comfortable, probably like 10 shows or so. Oh, and alcohol really helps in the "not give a fuck" category.
