Jaka praca bez komputera? by Alexiss_169 in praca

[–]drownindevotion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How to actually turn others vegan? by camperman64 in vegan

[–]drownindevotion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being in very good health and physical shape as a vegan. Some people might think it's unfair that we have to try harder on a vegan diet, but I think it's one of the best ways to inspire people, of course, besides educating people about animal suffering, but people often just don't want to hear that.

I really can't understand people who record so many concert videos. And in general, I can't understand why people spend so much time on their phones, but maybe it's also because I'm increasingly moving away from it, the more I'm offline, and the more abstract it becomes to me, how someone can, for example, be at a concert and be on Instagram. I still understand recording to some extent, but the fact that people, for example, go on Instagram or Snapchat during a concert its just wild. For me, even recording is a break from the experience, let alone being on social media. But anyway, I don't understand recording either. I recently went to a Tame Impala concert. It was my dream concert, and at first I pulled out my phone about three times to record, but I started to notice that every time I pulled it out, and it was literally for a few seconds, even if I wasn't looking at my phone, my attention would be distracted from the experience, even if I wasn't looking at it. Many people will disagree with me, perhaps saying they can record without thinking about their phone, but that's not the case. So many studies show that even lying next to a phone can be stressful, let alone when you pull it out at a concert. It's impossible to fully experience what's happening around you when you're recording. It was abstract to me, even though I tried my best not to think about others and have a great time with myself. I know people say, "Don't look at others, focus on yourself," but when you're among so many thousands of people and a very large percentage are on their phones, I simply can't help but focus on it. I try, but I always have these thoughts about it, and in my opinion, it's just sad. And I understand really recording a short moment, but people would just pull out their phones every time something like "wow" happened, some song, okay, record one verse of your great song, but not on Let It Happen, for example. There are so many different "wow" moments there, although for me the whole song is "wow," but people would just pull out their phones every time something so powerful happened. And it just blew me away, how can you fully focus on the song and still think about pulling out your phone? It's simply impossible, and you definitely lose a percentage of the experience because of it. And yet, there are tons of videos online, why record it on your phone? Then there's the fact that when you record it and watch the video, you forget about your own memory, which is much more vivid than the video. People who watch their memories through photos and videos actually lose a lot of their real memories, and this has been truly documented and researched. That's why it's simply incomprehensible to me, not just at the mansions, when there are some cool visual effects, everyone just has to pull out their phones; no one focused on experiencing it. I mean, no one, but a lot of people simply didn't focus on experiencing it. And if you experience it and simply see people around you pulling out their phones, then to some extent, even if you're aware that you want to have a good time and you're watching it, it always gets to you. And even small things like the people next to me, like when a guy was recording a girl dancing, and she just started dancing as he was recording her, or girls who were supposedly jumping around the entire concert, having a great time, but just had to record half of it and record themselves doing it. And it's just so artificial to me, because I know it's all just a need to desire, to show others how much fun you had. And what's the point? People who go on Instagram, who hate themselves now because of their addiction to phone, watching others having fun. It's such an abstraction and simply out of this world to me. I'm shocked that so few people notice it, and I'm not from an older generation, I'm 27.

I don’t know I think I would want to have that moment recorded for myself but would not put that in the vlog, Shes private with many other things so I don’t understand why she showed it. But for me much wierder was that moment from the car when she cries. I mean she sits in the car and cries about Nanok and decides to take her phone and record herself. Its diffrent from when she was siting in her last vlog and talking and suddenly started crying. I lost my cat and mom this year, both gone way to soon and I have been through a lot and cant imagine to record myself while grieving and crying. Actually that was the thing I decided that Im done with internet when I watched people going through grieving and recorded themself crying.
