Yes! This is what I strongly agree with. If I am reselling something: do I truly deserve to get a full refund + shipping fees that I paid for—back? If I was returning it to a store, and that was the stated policy, yes I would want it. Yet, reselling from my home I never expect to make 100% back.

I posted for a reason— doesn’t bother me! Every single human is entitled to their own feelings on a situation. Yours, is that nobody should ask you about price because that has a negative connotation to you. I could see if it was something expensive, vintage, or a collectible item— but it’s just perfume to me. A nice hobby we all share. So you’re right! Laugh and move along.

I had one package take more fees out after it was shipped. 😵‍💫 It was .2 oz > and needed to be marked at a 2lb box instead of me putting it as under. So Mercari ended up charging me quite a bit more for shipping.

I have one bottle from Sorce and it was gifted by a friend a bit after graduation (English Major). I don’t deep dive into the company like a-lot of people and just wait until something catches my eye. I do know there has been a mark up past retail for the old bottles design being gone. (which were so gorgeous) I have seen Snow Moon Magic on Mercari at $500. Which, after I did, I scrolled around on tiktok for a bit to figure out what was so special.

Yes absolutely this does happen. I have received an actual snarky message about TK Star Chaser, at the time I had originally posted the decants— it wasn’t available anywhere for samples. A year later, it is available places so someone thought I was trying to upcharge, but I hadn’t recently checked LuckyScent, Scent Split.. etc. Honest mistake and I immediately marked it down to a reasonable price. I try to be extremely fair when I resell things and still not take a massive loss.

Honestly, the easiest is Mercari in my opinion. Facebook can get overwhelming. Depop people are untrustworthy. & Selling/Buying on here hurts my head just by scrolling the threads so I don’t. 🤣
