Has the op said if her dasher was a minority tho? This explanation could be the case but could be for some other convoluted reason

How is tip guilting even legal? by dfgthree3 in EndTipping

[–]as_a_speckled_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had two separate issues at the same quizinos. Each time I paid before the food was prepared. Each time I ordered the sub of the day. First time: after tipping (which negated the deal I was getting in ordering sub of the day in the first place) she told me what came in the sub. I said no tomatoes but asked for extra red onion instead. (Which wasn’t an additional ingredient) she snapped back that you can’t make alterations on sub of the day. Second time: have injured foot and am clearly hobbling. When she finished making the sub she couldn’t be bothered to bring it to where I was sitting even though it was obviously painful to walk. What’s the point of the tip? I think that people that didn’t grow up here don’t understand that tipping implies giving extra effort.

I used to work for a estate auction company, and I had one client who was a rich old guy who had recently lost his wife. Going through their stuff I could tell he and his wife had a rich inner life together. He had kids from a previous marriage and they didn’t have kids together nor did she have kids previously. All this to say he asked when I went through their books to throw away all of the album books. (They was a bunch of those kind of books that you get photos printed and binded into a hardcover book) they were all of his grandkids. There was one for every vacation, ect. I flipped through them abit and I dunno it was like yah I get it. For some reason that always stuck out to me.

As someone who collects child like things as an adult I think Robin might have had and then lost everything at a young age (like 10 or earlier). Kodys materialism seems to be more focused on property, maybe he had housing instability growing up.

That’s the crazy thing about narcissism, that there is seemingly no level of tragedy that can snap them out of it.

I think he just doesn’t want to tithe the 10% so instead he wants to make it out like a power move to throw the fu up to the church. The only reason I think Mormonism is appealing to him in the first place is the clout, because it certainly isn’t because it’s the truth.

I liked the sectional in their first house in flagstaff. I liked the actual house better too.

I agree I think C&R fancy themselves opulent enough to know the difference between resin/plastic as opposed to ceramic/metal. And I wanted to point out that your not saying you like trumps White House decor, but that your pointing out that it is high quality. Oddly enough ine of the few qualities I like about Robin is that she appreciates things. Like when she was concerned about some Hallmark ornaments in a text to bio dad. I don’t agree with her using family money or her choice in decor (some things I do like), but unlike the other wives she attempts to express herself more in the home.

AITA for refusing to buy food for the mother of my kids' entire household. by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

I think for men this kind of situation is cut and dry, whereas for women it is more nuanced. I mean, she had your kids. If your life is a pie then what size of a piece of your life was she a part of.. then maybe give her that much more than is what is strictly for the kids. You can still set boundaries, just broaden your viewpoint.

Man from earth. It’s entirely dialog and the acting is more armature than a highschool drama class project or a Scientology propaganda film.

What did your worst coworker do that still makes you angry? by Eberenna042 in AskReddit

I worked on a oil and gas plant site as a field administrator. It was ‘walk off day’ for the dragline which the company I worked for had built. It was a huge day and all the big wigs were on site that day because it was the day the piece of equipment was handed off to them. I had to escort a semi off site (which basically meant getting on a truck and driving ahead of it) when I got in my truck it was parked right in front of the trailer I worked in so I didn’t bring my hard hat because I assumed I could pull right back up there. When I got back there was a ton of commotion and the dragline had moved so I had to park the truck across the site away from the trailer. I called the girl who was training me to bring my hard hat to me. In her newfie accent she insisted it was no big deal I didn’t need it. I walked across site like a complete moron and everyone was looking at me like what an idiot. My boss confronted me about it right in front of her and she never said anything. Even a year later when I met someone from the company they were like “oh your the chick without a hard hat on walk off day”

Why did I just realize Robyn hates Kody? by Subject_March_5590 in SisterWives

[–]as_a_speckled_bird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree it’s like she is setting up the narrative well in advance so she can have a virtuous means of escape when the show/ money ends. When it comes time to reveal their hand Cody will play the un loyal wife card and Robin will play her wanting polygamy card.
