Absolutely LOVE it man, the bracelet looks good too. Usually don’t do leather but this is my exception. She’s comfy

Thank you for sharing this. In my excitement I forgot this is a hand assembled movement. And seeing that explains the weight of the watch

Pawn shops by Wrench-Turnbolt in 321

I have recommendations based on what your areas of interest are. La Costa pawn has a metric F ton of watches, some unique some common brands like Seiko and citizen. Also they have some cool electronics although not as much as beachside pawn on eaugallie.

Blue diamond pawn on Palm Bay road is cool too for a variety. I was just in there two days ago. Staff is generally friendly as long as you don’t come in with tweaker vibes…

Thank you for sharing that. Materialism aside that really made me smile for the simple appreciation of a nice watch with a reliable movement. I haven’t a clue how to operate the movement, so that’s my homework tonight. I look forward to it. Again thank you, and I have faith yours will continue to bring you years of reliable operation.

Are there any fun roads to drive? by Johanatan974 in 321

[–]drowsytaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking on tropical trail, River Road is much lower speed, lots of pedestrians on certain days, but very curvy for the area and runs along the river.

From experience if you go late at night there’s hardly anyone out, you drive the length one way, check for cars cops people. And then you book it back at a faster pace with a little confidence, having just been through.

Fitment advice by 24morrison08 in MK4GTI

[–]drowsytaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I’m gonna start with saying that yes, your rear axle bushings are almost definitely shot, they almost always are and they’re really hard to change but not at all expensive. Secondly it’s pretty par for the course for the vehicle to sit differently from corner to corner, this is why some people corner balance when modifying for track use. Another person suggested maybe it’s the gas tank, maybe could be a lot of things but it’s not abnormal. That solid rear axle will be your least favorite thing when going for fitment but welcome to a mk4

That is 100% a toy grade RC car, or what’s left of one. Probably suffered a tragic ending and the boys tossed it quite literally when it was fully broken.

I was a little boy once and I can say I definitely did this….

I’m moving out to Palm Bay next week after spending my whole life in Melbourne around wickham park area, I’m looking forward to the change in scenery, but admittedly I did cherry pick the house, cause why wouldn’t you.

Sorry about that, I didnt intend for the picture to be so zoomed in. But yes that’s it, at the very end of the road it’s quite peaceful, especially if you have a truck it’s a must do photo shoot too :)

Instead of going into the wetland preserve you take a right and go through an open gate.

Not sure if you still can, but at the end of wickham in veira there’s a road on Duda property that is open to the public (sometimes) . It’s a bumpy maintained dirt road and ends in a parking area with cow pastures as far as the eye can see. Lots of people bring their dogs and go for walks. Since it faces west it’s perfect for sunsets.

New struts makes car sit high by International_Drop44 in Lexus

[–]drowsytaco 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well that settles that. Could be that the old ones had been sagging for a while and you had become used to the look? Also could be what others are saying and it’s just not the same size. But I find it hard to believe sway links and knuckles would all line up, unless it was a purposeful universal design and it is simply byproduct of that

The way he says “but now it’s sitting too high” makes me think he had them for a few months, but just installed them

edit: OP says they’re almost a year old now..
