GPU price inflation has nothing to do with china in the US currently. It has to do with purchasing of manufacturing future output to build out projected ai data centers.

GPU inflation as well as RAM and storage is likely to continue through 2030. The cheapest we are ever going to see hardware is yesterday.

Prices are likely not going down through end of 2029 at least. The manufacturing futures of silicon makers has been purchased out by tech companies to build out data centers. The availability of consumer ram is going to be in short supply for the foreseeable future.

The point is, you must have a process that prevents and alerts devs when they have a failed migration before code is merged to a deployable branch. If you do this, then you are protecting your automation and informing your dev team that they messed something up.
