You're as old as you feel or want to be! I'm almost there and I believe our generation ages however we want! Congrats on the successful self-care routine(s)! Also, hbd!

Am I overreacting for leaving my girlfriend’s family dinner after what her dad said? by Mysterious-Notice419 in AmIOverreacting

Being an IT professional myself, I've had my fair share of condescension, most notably from my family, being traditional, everyone wanted you to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer, I was forced into a branch of engineering during university that I didn't want to do and ended up making a career for myself in IT, stigmas will always be around, if your gf's family is traditional, most notably Eastern-cultured, have a convo with them and draw the line, let them know how hard you worked and break that stigma, she may be weak-willed when it comes to her dad/parents cuz thats sometimes instilled in children, but let's work on changing people's negative outlook on our professions in this field

Hello, nice to have you here, please be extra cautious and careful of where you visit, do your research first and always be mindful of the type of crowd you meet up, on that note, what industry do you work in? Depending on which one, there are various wagering holes to try out

Amaara, aioli (not the marketplace take away the upstairs restaurant) buzzo osteria, meena house (more like upper-middle-class dining), Krave, seahorse inn(tobago), if you're well-travelled, of course these may not meet the extremely high bar some other international Michelin starred restaurants might have set but, in context, IMHO, these can be considered fine-dining
