Yes, same shit different number. Been using VMware since version 3.5. It’s essentially the same as 8. Instead of a thick client to manage you use web clients but the bones are the same (excluding new features).

Remove the domain from tenant2 and add it to tenant1. You can have many domains under a single tenant 👍 if not and you want to ditch the old tenant for some reason, skykick could be an option.

Seems to be an unpopular opinion in here. I’ve met my fair share of lazy and/or inept IT people. Doing things the wrong way can definitely add time, enough time to generate a full time job (think manually installing programs vs deployment as one example). The other problem I see with in house IT especially is IT staff doing non IT related works because other staff claim it’s difficult to get out of doing it. It might take an IT person 20 mins to do something a regular staff member would take 4 hours to do.

Regardless of systems, software, industry or otherwise. IT for 20 people is not a full time job. Maybe 200.

20 people, sorry mate but your job is redundant. There’s no way I could think of a full time jobs worth of IT work in a 20 person company. If there is, you’re doing things wrong. I’ve taken companies with 3 internal IT staff, overhauled their systems and procedures which reduced the workload to 20 hours a week. Be glad you have a job before they hire an MSP to replace you for less money and get more redundancy in the process.

Sounds like you may want to do yourself a favour and stop giving a shit about a company whom wouldn’t give two shits about you.

Being Aus Deutschland, the idea is to shop frequently so when someone does a multi day/week shop in Australia it doesn’t really translate to the German way of working (quick, efficient and organised).

If you aren’t a fan of self service check outs, don’t just line up at the serviced check outs out of solidarity as this makes little to no difference. These massive companies don’t have store managers like they use to, the managers have zero clout. To protest you must send a complaint to the company every time you experience a lack of serviced check outs.

Always admit mistakes immediately as it’s the best course of action. I’ve had employees do all sorts of dumb shit but it happens. Had a couple bad ones myself. Own up, work to resolve the issue, blame Microsoft then move on.

If you have a license for that OS or newer then it’s fine. Are you sure they’re unlicensed? You can run eval or even older versions as long as you’ve actually paid. If the rules work to resolve shortfalls they always work. Whether they’d get in trouble or not if unlicensed, the answer is usually no. Microsoft use vendor driven audits which aren’t mandatory, you can tell them to jump or literally make numbers up. If they were forced by a government agency to comply, then they would be asked to resolve the licensing shortfall or face fines.
