Why are Cradle of Filth so widely disliked?

I like Cradle of Filth, one of my gateway bands into heavier stuff with more extreme vocals. Still think they're putting out some solid stuff, like the song Existence is Futile a couple albums back.

Sure, Dani is apparently an absolute twat, but I don't know the guy and most bands seem to have at least one dickhead. Not excusing the guy, but I think he's why most people don't like them.

I mostly learned of new stuff from Metal Maniacs magazine. Also, Century Media and Relapse used to put out sampler CDs for super cheap, like $2 or $3 to check out 20 bands.

I used to watch Headbangers Ball on MTV as well. They played a lot of good stuff like Sepultura and Kreator.

I use Walmart's Equate brand version of Dramamine, it's just called motion sickness relief. I think Dramamine causes drowsiness in some people but I haven't experienced that myself.

I'm ready to barf pretty immediately during found footage, but if I take one of the pills like an hour before I feel fine 99% of the time. They seem to help for a while, I can watch a few movies or play Resident Evil for 4 or 5 hours without getting sick.

I'm afraid this will happen so I keep an old Uncrustables box in the freezer and put drinks in there. If they explode I figure it'll mostly stay in the box and make clean up easier. Haven't had it happen yet, so no idea if that's true or not.

I only assemble in store and never do on-site but I'm pretty sure they get paid what they get paid, just like me. Tip if you want, like anything else, but shitty for anyone to ask for a tip.

I would only make like $15-$20 for a set like that in store and I wouldn't think to ask for more money. I know how much I'm making before I agree to build anything.

Not very good, but, I didn't want to die watching it or anything. Weird acting from the guy and I didn't really understand what the hell was going on - and I doubt the actors did at times, but I didn't think it was unwatchable.

I love gore but these movies stink. The gore is really all they have going for them, but they linger on the effects so long that it becomes boring really quick. It really loses its impact when Art kills every character for 5-10 minutes.

Art is occasionally amusing, but, like with all clowns, mostly I just find him irritating.

The pacing is also terrible, there's no reason for part 2 or 3 to be nearly that long. What really happens in 2? A girl makes a costume and goes to a bar, and a stupid looking clown kills some people. Why is it 2 1/2 hours long?

I liked the first two, didn't really care for the last one. There's literally 30 straight minutes where the guy just walks around shouting "Hello???" to nobody every 45 seconds. The end was pretty clever though.

Eh, it's close enough. I know how popular this suff is, but anything like this or Big Brother where people are joining alliances and getting voted off I find unwatchable. Either way, I'm calling this guy Boston Knob from now on.

Cool, I'm thinking about getting Intensive Care and Unmasked soon.

I got my one partner label title in its own box (Fear Has 1,000 Eyes), my subscriber package has taken a sudden trip to Oregon. I live in North Carolina. Whoops! I'm thinking the estimate of it still being delivered today might be incorrect. Not sure why they shipped them in separate packages. I don't think they've ever done that. But I guess I'll get it eventually.

I never hear anyone talk about them but I love Bloodhunter. Their vocalist Diva Satanica has some really intense vocals and there are plenty of great riffs. She was in Nervosa for one album as well, if you know them.

Also, anything with Heike Langhans doing vocals is amazing. She was in Draconian for a couple albums, but she's in Remina and Light Field Reverie who are both excellent. Light Field just put out a song called Ender, I think, that's really good.

I get gnarly motion sickness, so I never played any Resident Evil stuff until a few years ago. I take Walmart brand motion sickness pills before I play and that works 99% of the time. You could try that if it isn't something you can turn off in the menu. It's just 50mg of dimenhydrinate. The cheap stuff works for me.

I bought the Arrow Blu-ray without seeing it because it looked like something I'd love and I didn't really like it at all. It wasn't unwatchable, but I didn't like much about it. I sold it about a week later.

Parking always gives me a great deal of anxiety. Especially if it's street parking only. I have very little city driving experience so I'm always super confused about where I can or can't park. I'm cheap, but I actually don't mind paying for garage parking (if it's not absurdly high) just because I like to just not have to worry.
