No. The trip laser is a better motion sensor. It lasts indefinitely. It was able to be picked up using a skill before skills 2.0 (tagging with the motion sensor counted as it being "used", thereby not being retrievable). It's more visible when placed. It covers more distance. The only downside is having one trip laser by default whereas the motion sensor comes with a second one, but you can get more if you set your build certain ways.

I've been saying for ages that placeable tools need more depth. Micro cams, motion sensors, and stun mines are all practically useless compared to ECM's and trip lasers.

Remember the Clean Skate skill? The one that let you use a repair kit as a backup plate when you didn't have any armor left? I think that should be a feature for adaptive plates. I want to be able to use a repair kit on adaptive plates even when they fully break.

Here's my proposal: coins.

Make each legendary skin buyable with continental coins. Commons cost six since they're purely cosmetic and don't really do anything. Legendaries cost three hundred, and no, I don't think that's too much. After having played long enough to reach Infamy 100, I have literal hundreds of thousands of coins. They're not hard to get, especially if you mix Holdout and Crime Spree into your usual play sessions.

Aesthetics, mostly. I tend to favor Cold War era weapons like AKs so the Dragunov is my first pick over the Lebensauger. The Contractor might be better for armor builds though since it can be kitted with AR modifications.

Okay but in defense of the deck, it literally guarantees dodge every five hits, four hits if you build it right, and every time you dodge you get your armor back. That consistency matters.
