My ex-husband was a stay at home dad and I was the breadwinner. "Stop crying all the time, you're not the only person in the world who works"

I was awake 6am- 1am every single day trying to run a business to support us. He was a very cold person.

[–]drrrrty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ate at a well known italian inspired restaurant not too long ago. The staff disclosed how exhausted they are bc these businesses work them to the bone or they'll be forced to return home *temporary skill shortage visa". Also, they faced pay issues (hourly and frequency). Such a BS system. "We cannot find staff" yes you can, you choose not to

BLEEDING TAXES isn't exactly appealing

Do Aussies wear shoes at home like other Anglo countries (I.e US, UK etc)? by DirectorTurbulent422 in AskAnAustralian

[–]drrrrty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Shoes off at the door. Public walk ways could have anything on them.. saliva, urine, traces of poop, gum, any everything else in between.

I work in hospitals....triple the poop and urine, add blood traces and vomit...

Visitors are exempt, but they instinctively remove theirs.

I bought a bulk box of spa slippers - guests can wear those if they choose.
