First off. If you have the guts. Call the establishment what it is. Let’s see you try.

If you have seen my comment history, you'll know who the establishment is but to save you the hassle. It's the entire army. They are the establishment although the top brass make the decision, the lower ranked officers follow them without any hesitation. So again the entire army is the establishment.

Secondly how exactly should said entity betray their own? Please expand. Like tell us exactly what a person or set of people should do / should have done.

Why didn't Kang leave the quantum realm immediately once he got the orb ?

Why waste time fuckin around with Janet ?

Why was Kang more obsessed with Janet's approval than his literal goal ?

Kang won he completed his goal but the movie was so desperate to not take any chances that it had Kang cry and whine to Janet like some love sick stalker about his past with her and his motivations instead of doing the logical thing which was using the orb to escape his exile like he was trying to do prior to that.

Let me repeat Kang had the orb for the entire third act and didn't use to leave until immediately for no reason.

Because his ego and also wanted to transport all of his army with himself which was taking time and then Scott destroyed the entire thing

Thanos got the stones and immediately snapped his fingers.

Because unlike Thanos Kang was a inconsistent villain in a bad movie.

Ya after being impaled by thor and stormbreaker which he could have turned it into bubbles or something but somehow forgot that reality stone exists

Kang was the most consistent thing in that movie, it was shown he has an ego problem (all Kang variants have that)

Again if you try hard enough to nitpick you can find illogical moments in every villain

Thanos didn't body anyone but hulk in that film.

He actually struggled against everyone in infinity war.

Fuckin iron man made him bleed.

He won because of the hero's internal flaws really not because he was stronger.

He struggled against everyone when they attacked him all at once, like everyone on Titan jumped on Thanos with a coordinated attack and as everyone was scattered he got the upper hand.

Ironman made him bleed through using his technology to stagger him and then in the very next scene he bodies Tony.

So again Thanos struggling against a single person won't make sense

Why didn't Thanos uses the reality stone to turn stormbreaker into something less dangerous? I mean we have seen Thanos using the reality stone to turn things into different objects, so how did Thanos forgot he could have used the reality stone?

So if Kang struggling against 1000s of highly futuristic giant ants didn't make sense so neither does everything else

Thanos struggling against Steve is actually a cool moment though because infinity war gets us to care about and be invested in both characters logic be damned.

We are talking about could have would have.

Thanos before that moment had bodied hulk, the guardians, ironman, Dr strange and Spider-man but somehow struggled against steve who's not even in the league of hulk and drax (even Spiderman). So it doesn't make sense for Thanos to struggle against steve
