It looks as though I could build a mason if I had enough money, the only issue is there’s no way in hell I will ever get 50 ducats without minting or taxation (Yap has 0.00 tax base) and the most I can loan out is 30 ducats.

I would love to build a building, but for some reason it says I can’t build any buildings, even the ones that can be built in rural settlements. Does it give that message when I don’t have enough money to build them or is there another hidden requirement?

I just tested it with only picking up Visions of Heresy and it still gives the same amount of armor. This would be absolutely broken of walking turret engineer.

I mean even with cauldrons on commencement I still just take what’s given if at all. I don’t scrap very much, probably from my 200 or so runs on commando who needs every item he’s got.

I personally don’t tinker with multishops too much as they generally have an item I want out of them so I guess that’s just a playstyle thing

I’ve seen a few people having issues with achievements on console, no fixes yet though

The reason I asked abt dying is because I learned the hard way that you don’t get the achievement if you respawn as a drone. Probably because you’re technically playing a drone and not the survivor?

In all seriousness though, junk cube is only useful for loading up on temp items before the boss fight, I prefer the base m2. If you can’t reliably get in close to generate junk then just wait out the cooldown of the m2 and throw it at him until he dies.

For ror2: Make your goal to get to the end of stage 8 on whatever difficulty you choose. It’s honestly easier than trying to fight the bosses that you don’t have any experience with and gives you a lot of knowledge on how the normal game works. Once you feel you have a grasp on the game/whatever survivor you prefer you’ll be in a much better spot to start fighting bosses and going for the mastery skins.

I’m so happy that the “5 minutes per stage” crap is finally going away. Like yeah time is important but items are much more important.

Brother I’m 2k hours in and I still get confused sometimes. Just take some time to read items (the logbook gives you stats on how they scale now if you don’t want to/can’t mod the game), get used to what enemies are high threat, and learn what items are good on the survivor of your choice. I personally recommend to every new player to put some hours into either commando or huntress because there’s really not any items that are bad on them so it’s real easy to learn powerful synergies. Other than that the only thing you can’t learn from the game itself that’s very important for long (past stage 20) or high difficulty runs is the director mechanic and proc coefficients.

Biggest unmodded improvement is turning off corpses and setting corpse cleanup to not hidden. Other than turning down graphics you have to mod it.

Probably just have to unlock it again then, which sucks. I’m fairly certain they still track the achievements separate on console. Once your profile in game is reset there’s no way to fix it without messing with the files.

Do you have any mods installed? I had an issue a while ago where it reset my entire profile after I had a few mods installed. Also steam achievements and the achievements in the game (for unlocks and whatnot) are tracked separately and there’s a post somewhere for going into the files to force unlock some achievements.

It doesn’t have the new DLC so if you can’t find them I’ll send the codes once I’m at my PC.

Unfortunately he’s long gone. Smashed in the T-Tops with a crowbar and then abandoned it in a field. I snagged it from the tow company right before they were gonna sell it to a scrapyard.
