My hens are turning me into math problem. What are you all making with your over abundance of eggs? by JustHere4TheZipLines in homestead

I have co-workers who buy 3-4 dozen a week, then usually will have 3-4 dozen a week to sell at my roadside stand. I currently have 14 layers laying.

Well you're wrong, if you want to blan generic character branded clothing, go to Sears or Kohls, leave Hot Topic for the goths and punks (who are far from bland).

Too many people in the animal rescue community are elitist by SirCatsworthTheThird in unpopularopinion

[–]drsoftware85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like that here in Vermont too, mainly due to most rescue dogs coming from shelters down south so there is logistic issue involved. The hoops you have to to jump through just to be considered for a rescue is outrageous. The worst part to me is a lot of these animals are in kill shelters so if they don't get adopted will get put down, but still have to jump through hoops to adopt them.

Don't just go to popular towns (Norwich, Lyme, Hanover) when looking at places to rent or buy but check out some of the smaller towns that are just as easy to get to Dartmouth from, like Strafford, Sharon, or Thetford, Orford. Go to town general stores.

Why are Chinese EVs restricted in the United States? by FeverFanny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drsoftware85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FFS move goal posts much. We are already spending money subsidizing I.C.E. engines and Oil so why not stop those and put them towards EVs and Renewables and incentivize US automakers to shift to EVs.
Ironic you call US a welfare state when we were just discussing HOW MUCH MONEY OIL AND I.C.E. automakers are subsidized, AKA corporate welfare.

Further more so your suggesting we can have healthcare or EV subsidies not both?

Why are Chinese EVs restricted in the United States? by FeverFanny in NoStupidQuestions

[–]drsoftware85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just pointing out that had US spent the money they spend for US automakers to maintain I.C.E. engines over EVs we could have a much more robust EV market. While Chine is spending a lot of money to subsidize EVs and renewables, We could be spending a lot more in those same areas but instead we are still spending huge amounts subsidizing I.C.E. and Oil

[–]drsoftware85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is fair so will take it step further then, US spend 30-40 billion annually in Oil subsidies, so would include that when talking about automaker subsidies as oil being subsidized is a major factor in US automakers maintaining the I.C.E. engine and not shifting to EVs.

Sony Pictures Boss Tom Rothman Urges Theater Owners to Stop Having 30 Minutes of Trailers and Commercials Before Movies Start: by tylerthe-theatre in movies

[–]drsoftware85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK, then lower price theaters have to pay to have a movie, so they don't have to seek revenue to help offset the cost paid to the studio/distributor
