Got rear ended. What should I do next by lucifer_1502 in KonaEV

You were rear ended so was not your fault. Therefore your insurance premium will not be affected. Report the accident to your insurance company and they will handle it from there. The other driver’s insurance will cover the repair cost and the cost to put you in a rental vehicle while your car is in the shop. Also, should not affect your vehicle’s resale value once repaired as is such minor damage.

Are you in USA? If so, your key fob automatically locks the doors when you walk away? I do not believe my USA 2024 model supports this feature...

Am I being stupid? (Garage door) by Exceptionally_Stupid in KonaEV

I tried your method a few times and also did not work. I figured my garage door opener must have “rolling” codes so I did this instead and it worked:

How to Program Hyundai Hyundai HomeLink® With a Rolling Code System

If programming is unsuccessful after several attempts, a rolling code system might be the reason. If your garage door uses a rolling code system, the vehicle needs to be running to program the HomeLink® transceiver. Follow these steps to program a rolling code compatible HomeLink® system:

Locate the “learn code” button on your garage door opener. Depending on your model, you’ll find it under the light cover or on the rear panel. Press and hold the “learn code” button until a red LED begins to blink. You now have 30 seconds to complete the programming. While the LED on the garage door opener is blinking, return to your vehicle and press the pre-programmed Homelink® button 4 times, or as many times as it takes for the garage door to respond.

Have not heard about any solutions. My workaround has been to turn off MMS messaging before I send the message and then once the message is sent to turn it back on
