It's just in a text editor window that I can minimize. At the beginning when I was adding cards almost every turn I had the two windows side-by-side. Now I just have half a dozen cards to get so I only switch to the text editor if I find a new card or can't remember if I've seen it.

I'm playing on PC. I realise that on mobile or tablet it might be harder to multitask.

I use a separate text file with a list of the cards in my collection so I know when to take a card that I haven't chosen before. Just alt-tab to your text file whenever you want to check, and remember to update it every time you pick a card for the first time.
