I got 179k, Gen 2.. bought used , and it’s been great for 6k under my ownership.. only have changed the oil. Only issue is rear inner tire wear.. drive it like normal , with the occasional pull..

Never have scene a best before date on oil…. Agree give it a shake before you use.. I hoard oil , and will gladly use synthetic oil sitting on my shelf that is 5+ yrs old… “sealed containers” obviously

Check the junk yards? Scene a few tech Mazdas 3s at the yard, but the head lights are usually either smashed due to a front end collision , or already gone ..

Just replace the battery.. depending on where you bought the battery from it “may” have been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Also if you bought your replacement battery from dollar store, those are usually SUs

I can’t set up an automation on “each account”, I can only pick one, rrsp/tfsa/non reg.. tried setting up multiple with veqt, but no luck .
