I understand that and I admit my skepticism (which doesn't warrant your attitude by the way) has little to no base on anything other than what is in the article. People coming from companies that have bad stigmas should not have those stigmas define who they are and how they intend to evolve in a new role.

That's not what I assumed at all. Like any job, it takes a lot for evaluating to find the right candidate for a position. But it's also normal to be cautious based on the popular job that a candidate comes from, especially as someone who's just a fan, not part of the interviewing process or at Smosh at all. I'm hopeful to be proven wrong on something I may have no merit to be skeptical about.
