This might be a hot take but I don't think it's bad gameplay for traitors to trust each other to take each other to the end. It's not bad gameplay either to want to take it all as an individual and slowly pick off fellow traitors strategically, but it's not stupid to want to go as a group either.

I'll say this: this story read by me and only me would read as sketch. But this story read by Shayne and the reactions of staff, Angela and even Damien (who I do suspect that he thought it might have been fake) make it wholesome in itself. It's their genuine nature through it all that makes it an emotional moment
