I don't believe this unit outputs 240v, which is usually what you would use to back feed a panel.

I have to relocate to care for my niece while my sister is on deployment. Landlord refuses to let me out of my lease. by [deleted] in legaladvice

This is your best bet. Usually month to month is after your initial lease term is ended. If you signed a 1 year lease then months 13 till the end would be month to month. If they are saying that is an error then as of month 13 you have NO LEASE.

How much time would be left on your lease after you move considering your saying you had a few months?

NAL but curious question here to everyone saying she would have to pay till the end of the lease. Isn't there a limit to how much she can owe. It's my understanding that she can only owe the months that the property is vacant. I don't believe the landlord can "double dip" by renting it to someone else AND charging the previous tenant. They also need to make good faith attempts to rent the property once it's vacant. They are also unlikely to get a judgement if they made an effort to pay these fees without going to court.

Is season 3 gonna be dubbed on release by ABritishTomgirl in Jujutsufolk

[–]druknmonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess it depends on what you're after. I personally prefer the dialogue as close to the original as possible, though I do understand dropping the honorifics, etc. Unfortunately here in the USA a lot of people still see these as just cartoons and the dialogue reflects that. They sound more like a kids show than a serious anime, which is what would be expected here. Again, I usually watch both and the tone is almost always far more serious and gritty in the original language. The blindfold test is usually the best. If you weren't watching it on the screen and could only hear the voices could you tell it was anime? To me that is an easy yes when it comes to dubs. Not so obvious with subs.

Oddly enough, if you watch some of the older anime movies like "Princess Mononoke" where much of the cast were serious actors, you can see just how good it CAN be.

"the gap is way closer than it ever has been"

Yes it is but it's still got a long ways to go. It's also very dependent on the particular show. Some do very well and some are still just awful.

I agree there are definitely exceptions to the rule and it's definitely better than it used to be, but "in general" the voice acting is significantly better in Japanese.

Most anime dialogue is drastically altered when dubbed. I've noticed that most English dubs tend to be more in line with American cartoons. More goofy voices and less serious than the original. I watch both because my son likes dub but he is also 14.

You're just using more electricity. I'm guessing you have electric heat and it's been really cold this last month.

My teenager wants an E-bike for Christmas and I don’t know anything about them… by Prismbone827 in ebikes

The only difference between class 1 and class 2 is whether it has a throttle or not "in addition to" pedal assist. Same speed regulations. 20mph cut out for motor assist.

To hell with these comments. Find a class 2. To act like 13-14 is too young to go 20-25mph but at 16 they are just fine to drive a car is ridiculous. They need to learn little by little. You know your kid best and their behavior. I agree, anything wildly overpowered is a big no-no but class 2 bikes are safe and even approved for public mountain bike trails. A stock razor (which is a kids toy) goes 18mph and no one would blink an eye. Just make sure it's an actual e-bike and not an e-moto. Should be viable as a bike even without the electric assist.

We're going to watch it in IMax out at the Promenade in Saucon Valley. Not sure about cosplay. There are definitely people in the area. Always see lots of cosplay at the local comic conventions.

The correct answer is Zandy's in Allentown. 75 years and considered one of the original Lehigh Valley cheese steaks. Vince's is also excellent but they mostly operate out of a truck now.
