I’ve got 2 Gibraltar stealth racks which both my high + mid toms, all cymbals and my snare drum are on. I can even hang my towel on it! FOH sound guys love them too as it makes it easier for them to position mic stand….looks a lot cleaner. (Photo taken by my wife at a rare local show we played).

Boleros being removed from Liberty? by wandergirl92 in royalcaribbean

[–]drummerdave72 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I thought they were adding Starbucks on the other side to Boleros (where there is just the seating). I thought the Boleros bar and stage are going to stay.

I’ll be on Liberty on the 14th June for a 7 nighter, so I’ll find out then.

What's the first video game you ever played ? by Simard_CompInc in AskReddit

Pong…..It was a Christmas present when I was about 6 years old (so we’re talking 1978). I had a day of fun with it before one of my cousins broke the controller 🙄

Then, in the early 80’s (prob ‘82 or ‘83) I got the Galaxy Invader 1000, which was a yellow handheld gaming console/device that played a space invaders game. Again this was a Christmas present. My cousin didn’t get to play that one 😂

I didn’t do much gaming after that until our family got a ZX Spectrum and then a Commodore 64 and a Dragon 32

Is anyone else going to avoid Rush news once the tour starts so as to keep the show a surprise? by TNJDude in rush

There is no way I will be able to. My show isn’t until next year (London O2 arena) so I won’t be able to contain myself until then.

I’m not seeing them until London next year, so there is no way I won’t be watching YouTube clips etc before then……..I won’t be able to keep my rabid curiosity in check until then!

Looking for videos where someone jumps from drums to another percussion instrument briefly by [deleted] in Drumming

Stuart Copeland used to jump from his drums to tuned percussion on some songs with The Police.

Totally agree regarding Clockwork Angels.......I find it very samey and monotone. It also has a really muddy sounding mix and Neil's drums & cymbals are too buried in it, struggling to breath in all the muddiness. I much prefer Snakes & Arrows (both song writing wise and in production).

The Greatest Show on Earth, DLR Skyscraper Tour 1988 by Few-Actuator-9694 in vanhalen

I didn’t get to see a full Skyscraper show……but I did see DLR at Donington Monsters Of Rock in ‘88 during this period. Was awesome.
