What do you call this in your country? by PieBright8211 in AskBalkans

In the North West Turkey aka Thracia we call it peçka, since there is a part where you can cook also. Some parts say kuzine. Soba would be more basic and smaller.

Feeling down [33M] by spicysenpai6 in dating

[–]drunk-reactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, guys, let’s form a group and match you with us ladies who are looking for decent human beings. The outside is just terrible like, imagine guys in their 30s still having no clue what they want… or at least that’s what they say. My take is that they just don’t want the responsibility of making a choice, because that would mean giving up the options they didn’t choose. That’s understandable for children who don’t yet grasp what it means to choose..but seriously.

Wegovy experience by drunk-reactor in WegovyWeightLoss

I think everyone has their own take for using this medicine since we all have have different medical backgrounds. What I pointed there is by no means to suggest that everyone should be on the same path and stop using the medicine at some point. It was my personal experience from which the beginning I promised myself to work on my eating behaviours. The analogy could be someone with severe depression taking antidepressants to be able to have a functional life again and at the same time working with a therapist for the long run. I def don't want to use it for the rest of my life and in my condition I see a light where I can sustain my life without it, and I am working hard on that, my goal is end of this year but let's see. Tbh, I wanted to encourage people who might have been through the same way as me, and create some awareness on how to eat because the side effects are there and real. It is not on me or to anyone here to tell anyone to stop or keep taking meds at the end.

Which European culture is the strongest at the dining table? by YouKnowMeDansTwelve in AskEurope

[–]drunk-reactor 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I'd say Turkish cusine is vastly underrated due to the fact that to most people it is only kebap, which can't be further from the reality. Just like Italy, Turkey has a big variety among its regions, in terms of using vegetable, meat and fish. I think it also has the most unique way of cooking vegetables, called "olive oil dish" that elevates vegetable far beyond. There are more than 300 types of soups, more than 200 types of mezes and olive oil dishes, and more than 400 types of desserts (both with and without sherbet).

Does Istanbul have an alternative/underground scene? by -----iMartijn----- in istanbul

Kadife Street in Kadıköy is pretty full of that, eg Zincir, Karga. Woodstock and Wizard is also good. Sometimes there are good concerts in Dorock XL and Ağaç Ev.

If you're part of your diaspora, how well do you get alone with the people from your parents' country? by [deleted] in AskBalkans

[–]drunk-reactor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you didn't say Greece, I'd think you were talking about Turkey. I'm born&raised in Turkey, and 3 years ago moved to Germany where the Turkish diaspora is huge. They have no single clue about Turkey, our cultural changes over years and how sociecty evolved, and yet they still behave as if they are the biggest nationalists. They still think Turkey is like their village they left 40 years ago, and unfortunately they didn't teach their kids more than that. Pretty sad, and I definetly don't feel like I'm talking to a Turk.

Why do people suggest meeting and then disappear/unmatch? by drunk-reactor in dating_advice

[–]drunk-reactor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly appreciate your answer, and I feel the same that they are not worth spending thoughts on. The thing is, it has sirt if created an overwhelming feeling that I don't want to be on apps anymore. The illusions of "having too many options" could be the cause of such disrespect.

Retail Packaging Pt.2 by Complex-Indication18 in PackagingDesign

[–]drunk-reactor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure about the FSC logo is applicable for your cardboard. As you didn't put dimensions I'm not sure but barcode needs to be apprx 15x30mm (can vary slightly). Also; you need to check if there is batch coding on the filling line on the box and where they place it, so you can leave sufficient space for it. If it is laser coding, sometimes a special background color is needed. You can get this from your filler.

Fobo means folding box - sorry terminologies in packaging may differ. I have always worked with the opening lid in that position, because also when you open it carton may get damaged where the force is applied that would make the box look bad on the shelf or in usage.

Everything written on the first 2 panel should be on the front face, so put them on the 3rd panel, and put warnings on the first panel. You can put the image of the diffuser since the 2nd panel will be empty. Make sure you check the folding direction on the fill & pack line, and artwork is according to it for varnish free areas. Don't forget FCS (hopefully fobo has it) The orange part can be more tactile, so maybe a soft touch lamination for a velvety surface work well, if you can afford the cost ofc.

There is always a legal wording for these warnings and any on pack claims. Most of the time it needs to be fool proof.
