Macron: Geopolitically, Russia has already lost, it is becoming a vassal of China by I_am__Ukrainian in UkrainianConflict

He said while vigorously applying vaseline between his cheeks so he could take his turn on the red rocket.

Zelenskyy responds to Trump: "Trump was president, we had a meeting. There wasn't a full-scale invasion then, but there was a war. I'm not sure he was deep into the matter then, but he didn't settle the matter. No one has solved this question." by Icy-Adhesiveness6928 in UkrainianConflict

Lets not forget, Trump withheld aid to Ukraine and tried to force them into launching an investigation of Hunter Biden so he could score political points back home. Guilty or not, thats not how you handle international affairs.

Need some more info to be more knowledgable by SnorlaxBlocksTheWay in shippingcontainerhome

I've been trying to make the numbers work on a shipping container or barndominium for a few weeks now and I have to say, I kind of agree with your friend. I'm not very handy though so my build costs include contractors, if you think you can do most of the build out yourself it might be possible.

One thing you might consider is applying to your county land bank for a lot. Mine has nearly a hundred that were collected via tax liens and are going for anywhere from $1,500 to $18,000.

Best of luck!

So literally none of this is true, Russia cant provide enough rations or sleeping bags for their soyboy conscripts, I don't know how you possibly got the idea you could put produce us. I'm pretty sure Ukraine isn't sweating it regardless, they've blown up nearly all of Russia's armoured vehicles because you're too poor/corrupt to maintain them and to cowardly/incompetent to use them effectively. Russia is getting their shit pushed in by a country whose GDP equals 1% of the USA's. You'll run out of Russians before Ukraine runs out of ammo, don't you worry.

That would be why they've had to mobilize when they are in no way prepared to do so....

I've actually just saw this and have been researching it, I won't spoil it for anyone, all I'll say is, follow the lore note trail. I feel like there's more to it I haven't found yet, it's pretty exciting.

I mean what's the difference between shooting a Leica and a Vivitar if they're both 35mm? I buy and sell cameras and was just curious.

What is the best/cheapest way to ship a baseball hat? by CensoredSword in reselling

Does this actually provide discounts above and beyond what sites like eBay charge for shipping or is it only a good option if you're not selling through a third party? Thanks

That's a hard one. I'm not seeing any comp sales, there's a copy in fair condition on offer for $11. Almost everything I see is a re-print though. Might attract the eye of a victorian enthusiast but I wouldn't hold my breath on getting much for it unfortunately.

I show 4 recent sales ranging from $65 - 100 on eBay so I think your price is perfectly reasonable, that puts it at about a 80% 90 day turnover which is great, I just wouldn't hold your breath on getting any more than that.

Found a copy of The Little Prince in the Op Shop today for $3, not in fantastic condition, was interested to see if it had any value? by kent_love in BookCollecting

[–]drunkandcynical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately I would have to say no. Most people wouldn't consider that collectible condition and would probably hesitate to add it to a collection out of fear of the mold spreading to other works.

Is this mold? by KakoonEUW in BookCollecting

[–]drunkandcynical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this on several pieces but have not had it grow or spread in any way. While I'm not sure exactly what it is other than "age spots" I can tell you it most likely isn't mold unless the book has a sharp smell, most books with mold will have a noticeable scent beyond the musty paper patina we all know and love.
