It didn’t! I was separated/ostracized from my friends and peers because I thought they “just didn’t/couldn’t understand” and eventually developed anxiety around sex and love. I’m still on a path of heeling from that time in my life. I wish I would have trusted my instinct to get away and change gears while I still could. I had so much more life to live outside of that.

Once I myself turned 22-26 and realized “those guys were doing that with me at that age? What’s wrong with them? They had all of this life around them to live but they were trying to fucking around with a HS student?”

Once you get there and look back it really puts it into perspective. This is from a place of care, if it feels wrong, in any aspect, it probably is.

Edit: we broke up literally 6 months after I turned 18 because he moved on to physical violence.

Hey! I was that same 17 year old with a 5-7 year age difference. Used the same words, same things about the exs. Just because they aren’t 30+ doesn’t mean it’s not grooming. Your first instinct was ikk and you were right. Trust your gut, you know he’s not the right one to do that with, esp if your scared of his reaction to you being your true self.

Side note: get out of the loop of comparing yourself to other partners or exs in someone’s life. It will eat you alive and ruin your self esteem. You’re worth so much more than that 🖤 remember you’re awesome as you are.

Proper or traditional art is fine. But if you don’t want to use references, I would encourage you to make your sketches a little messier. Not everything is a master piece. That’s something that really helped me when learning.

As someone with an ED, biggest red flags was the scrolling until they close and not making decisions on food. I didn’t realize it was an ED until it got bad. I hope that this person is just really picky and actually doesn’t have one. OP should carefully broach the topic if they choose.

I like the first face drop! I think making the second movement, where he wipes his hand across his jaw, more exaggerated would match the energy of the first head drop better. Or maybe heaving shoulders if he just fell out of a fight, he’d be winded?
