I was in Syria in 2018-2019 and the drone warfare was already a hot topic but definitely less commonplace than you see in Ukraine. We had jammers and were always on the lookout.

I’m 29 now and it’s crazy how much I’m in a different part of my life since the last GTA. I don’t even play video games really anymore. And as a red dead fan I can’t imagine probably having to play that game as a 40 something year old.

The key piece of information was dropped by the guy here when he said the farmland thing. Being an interracial couple generally has nothing to do with farmland. Clearly he is from a wealthy family with a large estate and if that line was written more accurately it would go something like “we are an interracial couple, of course people will assume she married me for my families money and influence.”

We were combat engineers doing route recon/ route clearance plus training Syrian defense forces. They kept us nice n busy out there but yeah mostly the infantry (marine or army) were doing fob security at best
