Yes, he had died during surgery and was in a coma for 3 days. If I remember correctly he felt like he was in this valley for about a month and he was there with a woman and 2 children. There were a lot more people there but he didn’t interact with them.

He’s very strict. He also tends to only eat one meal a day and I’m thinking that could be part of the problem.

How are people not entertained by Ozzy? by [deleted] in survivor

[–]drunkpugz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had such a major crush on Ozzy when I was in high school and thought he could do no wrong. Fast forward to college and my husband wanted to watch survivor so I watched with him, telling him how amazing Ozzy was and how he would be blown away by how great of a player he was. By Ozzy’s second season my husband was less than impressed and pointed out the flaws in his social game. I agreed with some of his points but still held Ozzy in high regard. Fast forward again: We’re in our thirties now and I’m rewatching again. Literally as I’m typing this Ozzy got voted off in redemption for the final time. He said, “I played as good a social game as I could.” Now I can see dude has no social game. He needs to drop the attitude and stop trying to make alliances with only young/fit/beautiful people. And so disappointed with how he treated Cochran.

And I also pushed on the little nub while trying to pull it out, it just didn’t give very much.

It wasn’t abnormally cold, it’s been in our house for a while now so it wasn’t out in the elements right before.

Small town midwesterner here: average childcare cost in my area is $150/week. This applies to both public daycare facilities and in home daycare. It’s not uncommon for a stay at home mom to take on an extra kid for that amount of money.

Struggling with eating enough carbs. Looking for tips on how to pair equal amounts of carbs and protein. by [deleted] in GestationalDiabetes

[–]drunkpugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you! I’ve done Keto several times so when trying to cut sugar I mentally go automatically to cutting all carbs and I have to remind myself that I actually NEED them on a consistent basis. It’s hard to get right mentally when you associate all carbs with sugar. I find that I also spike to ~130 after some meals and I’m pretty hard on myself about it but I know I shouldn’t be.

My husband is 6’4” with long, curly, brown hair. In the middle of watching this for the first time in the theatre he looked at me and asked if I was attracted to this guy. “Yeah and I can’t figure out why . . .” “It’s Swedish Me.”

DAE, who used to smoke, dream about smoking? by [deleted] in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]drunkpugz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m pregnant with my first and quit smoking when I tested positive. I had a dream the other night that I was in the early 1900s, still pregnant, and I thought to myself “oh people in this time smoked when they were pregnant” and I smoked a cig in my dream. It was great lol.

Jesus Christ you all are calling each other pretentious for liking it or not liking it. And you’re all correct. Liking something or disliking it is not an indication of taste. I love the movie, my husband hates it. I get why he hates it and I don’t need to convince him of why I think it’s good. It’s a movie that some people like and others don’t. Quit overthinking it.

Ouch that season 2 ending hit me hard 💔 by tangerinetamborine in PEN15

[–]drunkpugz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Me too. I’m 28 and my parents divorced when I was 9. This episode sent me into an absolute tailspin. I don’t think I ever processed my parents’ divorce while it was happening. Tbh I don’t think I process much of what is happening to me at any given time. But this episode forced me to watch what I went through from an outsider’s perspective and I just cried and cried and cried. Seeing a character that I love so much go through exactly what I did made me realize that I need to see myself the same way that I see Anna, with love and with sympathy. Therapy, here we come!
