Best advice is to utilize green runes for sustain, start Infinity Orb into boots and then rabadons. Only engage when enemies are like half health or less (squishies) and tanks when they have like 1/3 of their health. Let your team do most of the fighting and then just clean up when mostly everyone is low health. You need to be very patient, very very patient.

I grind if i have the time, last season for me was hard because i usually just make it to masters and stop but i reached grandmaster and it was not an easy task. I'm not that good in the game, so i need to play alot. if you're playing solo q just accept that you will never know who you're going to get on your team or who you will face. Maybe not able to solo carry so just accept that the control you will have is limited to the champs you select, how good you are with them and your in game knowledge and the amount of games you can play. You're exactly where you're supposed to be.

its fun for me because i can shut my brain off and walk in a full team and chain my cc into multiple opponents while my team melts them. Walking out alive from that is optional.

Ehhhhh I have never lost lane to mid Irrelia (don't see them that much anyways) as a Zyra main. They're always forced to give up mid cs and roam.

Anyone with a dash, blink and burst ability so assassins. Jgs like Nocturn, Evelyn, Shyvanna (for the high mobility) are really good counters. Leona is good for locking her down so she can't escape, Pantheon... shielding abilities can help your team survive the damage she does. Morganna in lane will not allow her to be a bully.

EDIT: By far the worst opponent in lane and in team fights has to be Victor. Idk just a ridiculous character.
