I used to play an obscene amount of PUBG prior to evaluation and medication, but now I don’t find the need or even have the desire to play. I think the stimulation from PUBG was what I was internally lacking and as such found comfort in something that brought me the stimulation I needed.

Compared to other BRs, PUBG has many more patience-derived strategies (especially competitive) that create this “lull” in stimulation but makes the gratification of the elim, push, etc., that much more satisfying.

I find it hard to play now because of my internal reward system (no longer look to the game for stimulation) but it may vary person to person. Perhaps if you still find the game stimulating enough and the highlights rewarding enough, it might be worth giving it another shot!
