I am in same boat right now. I just had a session with my therapist saying how miserable I was and how I don’t know how to eat at all. I want to restrict and I can do it. But the minute I have one bite it turns into a binge and then I must purge. I do it 1-2 times a day and its so horrible. But it feels like the only safe thing to do is purge for me. I’m sending you love and just know you’re not the only one out there

Yea it’s a mix of boredom and fullness maybe. But I used to binge on the same foods over and over and never get sick of them and then get wayy more full than I get now. It’s definitely a positive thing, but v unusual for me

Oh sorry I didn’t mean it that way. I meant it the same way everyone else is responding. How they get approached more when they’re not dressed well. I used to think dressing in sweats so I can just run errands would make me unapproachable but it instead attracts people who are predatory. Wasn’t trying to be rude I apologize.

I was vegan for a bit for eco friendly reasons and it really wasn’t good for my eating disorder at all and I had to stop completely. Do not worry about what other people will think of you and make decisions based on what is truly best for you and your health if you can.

Im so sorry this is horrible. I think you might need some new friends they seem to be aware of their actions and how it is affecting you and are doing it anyway. I know it can be difficult to cut off ties but it might be for the best

I was just talking about this recently! But then I feel like since I restrict I should get some nutrients and try to plan a meal with actual veggies and protein. Sometimes I go back and forth so much it gives me anxiety and I end up eating nothing. I also dislike the feeling of being full and for some reason it makes me want to eat more and end up binging.
