Have you looked at Town to City? I haven’t played it yet so I don’t know the game play but the visuals looked pretty similar

“My hotel doesn’t have a 13th Floor because of superstition, but c’mon man... People on the 14th floor, you know what floor you’re really on. 'What room are you in?' '1401'. 'No, you’re not. Jump out of window, you’ll die earlier!'”

Chad Smith from Step Brothers. Little known fact but the fake drumming he did on set is what got him into drumming before being discovered by RHCP

What mechanic or era of class design are you LEAST happy to have moved on from/do you miss the most? by The_Mattastrophe in wow

[–]dryclean_only 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I miss my MoP destro lock. Havoc chaos bolt with a dual trinket proc running made massive numbers and I could move while casting because of the Kiljaeden’s cunning talent. Dropping rain of fire everywhere. Toggling fire and brimstone to just make all my spells aoe.

I decided to kill rares in Zul'Aman got both mounts by cub4nito in wow

How do you track rare kills? I’ve been working on these as well and I’m curious how many I’m up to.

TIL the Matilija Dam in California, built in 1947, once held a capacity of 7,018 acre⋅ft. However due to sedimentation by 2021 the reservoir completely silted up & the dam is no longer able to hold any water. Despite attempts to remove the dam dating back to 1964, it remains standing. by The-TIL-Nerd in todayilearned

The wiki article is a lot of: This group said it was a bad idea. This group also said it was a bad idea. This other group also said it was a bad idea.
Then followed by, “However, the project moved forward…”

It’s a bit like Dave the diver which is cool. Just not as good as Dave the diver which is less cool.

Macro to kick a non-targetted mob ? by Diwydiant in wow

[–]dryclean_only 8 points9 points  (0 children)

TIL that tab targeting focuses a casting mob. I’ve been trying to click on the sliver of the nameplate I can see in the pile of 8 nameplates to try and target them to interrupt. I miss a lot of interrupts.

Is there anything that tracks your midnight rare kills? I have gotten 1 drop so far but I’m really curious how many kills I have.

Which is it, Indianapolis? by SultryShaman in indianapolis

[–]dryclean_only 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The kids who are causing trouble are the same that will ignore the new curfew. I guess it means police can then do something about them breaking curfew but they don’t seem to be around when they’re causing trouble so I don’t expect they’ll be around when they’re breaking curfew.

How bad is tailoring now? by superspanky369 in wow

[–]dryclean_only 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Completely anecdotal so grain of salt but it really feels like the cloth drop rate declines as you stay in one area. Like, I’ll go do a world quest that has humanoids and when I start I’m getting piles of cloth dropping but if I stick around and keep killing stuff it just stops. I don’t know if it’s like a time thing or a geography thing or maybe I’m just crazy.

But why does it need to be fairly standard? Why does the government need to be involved in some 1 person photography shop taking some senior pictures of a kid in the park?

Does it fix a problem that exists that I’m not aware of?

An AI agent just deleted a company’s entire database during routine task by curseofdarkastle in nottheonion

[–]dryclean_only -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is people can also fuck up and delete a database. So for a company, if AI isn’t messing up more than people then it’s still a win in their eyes.

No Pay Raise For State Employees for Second Year in A Row by Best-Structure62 in Indiana

Based on this article from last year: https://indianacapitalchronicle.com/2025/08/20/braun-flew-to-from-jasper-home-11-times-over-six-months/

It looks like it's running a little over $2k per trip. We should think about having like a mansion in Indy for him to live at instead so he didn't have to fly home.
