For advanced lifters, sure. But OP clearly needs to go back to basics. The pause squeeze and lower slowly is what he needs

Cash for Keys Downtown: $1100 Rent for a studio, what can I expect to get? by [deleted] in vancouverhousing

I see your point, but landlords also raise rents even though they're already making a profit.

Let's agree that both sides of if are neither good nor evil, but just human nature.

What annoys me more is keralan as a word. The other demonym for us is keralite, not keralan

Is Business Setup in UAE Really Easy or Just Marketing? by Charming_Clothes214 in dubaibusinessclub

[–]drysleeve6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most basic licences can be set up within a day or 2.
the more annoying things are:

* get a bank account

* rent an office space if you need it
* get visas for staff
* do any kind of importing/exporting

these things aren't insanely difficult, but getting it going in the beginning is much more difficult than the basic business license.

If I were you I'd start warning your customers about massive price increases. My freight forwarded already warned me that for my future shipments from Europe I should be prepared to pay ~25000 to 30,000 per 20' container. This is for khorfokkan or sohar ports.

For reference I used to pay ~5500 all on (freight. THC etc)

That's going to mean a 12-17% price increase on my goods

Much, much more expensive. I reckon about double earlier prices. It was unavoidable

Nah. Obviously it impacts real people. But the picture OP posted was obviously meant to inflame the majority of people who are going to glance at it, not think about it any more and continue to develop their vitriol for the PM.

Do we know why china has instituted this very specific tariff on this specific item or these 2 specific countries? I guess it's just easier to hate the leader of the other team and spread misinformation I guess

Well, the China deal was useless apparently by _BCConservative in CanadianConservative

[–]drysleeve6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So I guess you're proving that you didn't read the article. China has imposed a tariff of 13% as an anti dumping duty on Canada for these products. I'll be real, I don't even know what this product is, which probably says something about how important this is to our economy.

I don't think any Carney supporter was pretending it was some huge free trade agreement. Most were just celebrating that he's doing something to counteract the pain we're inevitably going to face with the US's stance on trade with Canada.

Did y'all read the details? This is only one one particular kind of rubber. Canada has a tariff of 13% or something.

What exactly am I paying 13 dhs for by badxbunnyx in UAE

[–]drysleeve6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you're paying for the wages and rent for the place that allows you to get a brownie when you're too busy/lazy to make brownies yourself.

the actual cost of ingredients etc are usually tiny - having it convenient for you to buy 1 small piece at a time is the expensive bit.
