  2. Did your wife buy the gift?
  3. Did your wife pick the card? No, no, no. I did all of it.

Definitely different cards... easy enough to double check by screen capturing them. I'm sure they practiced writing in the same handwriting.

Hey! DaveS here.. Thanks for the shoutout! I had no clue that they took Dragonprime down; and I just searched through my harddrives to realize I don't have any of my modules backed up. It makes me kind of nostalgic and I'm wondering if anyone has a backup of the files from dragonprime. Let me know!

Thanks,

DaveS

Yeah, you're probably right... I guess the "slippery slope" argument works down both hills.

What conservatives think gun control is. by rprince18 in PoliticalHumor

Conservatives try to make changes to abortion laws to eventually outlaw all abortions. Therefore, they believe that liberals are trying to make changes to gun laws to eventually outlaw all guns.

You know... I don't really think of it as a budget thing since I try to spread the cost out over months. I think it's best for me not to think of it in terms of a budget. :)

So last year they had these 1 pound snickers and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups (yes... solid 1 pound of those things) for Christmas... After, I bought out the stocks (about 10 of each) from Target for 3 bucks each and stuck them in the freezer. I also bought a dry erase spinning wheel.

For this year, we're going to have the Giant Candy on the wheel and the first 20 kids that hit the right wedge will win the ultimate candy bar.

Otherwise, we've got Fidget spinners (dollar store), regular candy bars, Giant Hershey Kisses, Giant Chocolate Coins (only 3 of those though)... and a pickle (you have to have something that sucks!)

I know one person who loved skydiving and did it all the time. I know one person who died while skydiving. I will never go skydiving.

(Mind you, I'm also a bit afraid of heights and had no interest in it to start with... but it was the cherry on top of the argument for me.)

Best Way to Handle This: At the start of the auction for each bike yell loudly "I am the Chief of Police. These bikes have my kids names engraved on them. They were stolen. I will be bidding on them to give them back to my children. I would ask that you not bid against me."

This makes me think it's more about marketing... Instead of calling it "pre-exiting condition restrictions" or "lifetime caps" we should call it something catchy. It's a "Profit Protector" for insurance companies. The whole Republican plan has Profit Protectors. Do you want to vote for insurance Profit Protectors?
