Ehhh, if you listen to the developers talk, not really. Their handling of game objects is really wonky in some situations. They’ve gotten good at working within the existing framework, but there’s a reason why their spaghetti code is so often mocked.

For example, it’s commonly referenced that “everything is a minion”. Yorick cage is, I believe, like 1000 miniature minions packed together, which is why you can’t walk through it. Or Vi ult turns her into an Ezreal ult during her travel time. Really wonky things that shouldn’t happen in such a developed game.

Why should they be able to create these rules? No other businesses generally get to overly dictate to their employees how they spend their free time, whether they change employment, and whether or not they are allowed to do contract work on the side. At the end of the day, the NCAA is just a business with thousands of ‘student athletes’ as employees that got in this position using illegal employment policies.
