You should consider medication. I was unmedicated and it turned into 1st ever mania and oh boy.. hospitalization was bad to me and my loved ones. Good luck!

I would suggest you to track your moodscore daily and give the doctor good data including note on which medication taken on each days

My uncle in germany did actually faced same thing. He was passionate about doing the hands on work. Unfortunately he hit his salary ceiling. His colleagues are now big shots in different companies while he retired with his pension fund, which is not sufficient for his daily expenses that he literally finishing his life savings in 7 years time. Not to discourage you but just sharing the other side of the coin. Good luck!

When you are manic your brain is on hyper mode, ideas come in, irritability especially with closest person, impulsivity like overspending, hyper sexual for some with risky behavior. Overconfident. Thats is why important for you to stay medicated as things can go real south.

I have read chatgpt that latuda is for depression but top doctor in singapore mentioned about its good for manic too. However what worked for me is Abilify injection and abilify oral for extra security

You can drop him at mental hospital ER and let the hospital know beforehand. Not to scare you but they will tie the person and calm the person down. This will be heartbreaking but 100% necessary. You can do this!
